The hotel's slightly discolored complexion is compensated for by Rod, the proprietor. It is only a medium-sized, basic I, without the boutique name. It is tidy but only a little worn around the edges. No photographs are shown in the stark rooms, and while it is totally adequate, the carpet is just perfect, and I can concur with a previous evaluation that the bedding just needs to be reupholstered. The duvet was clean, but with repeated washing, it had faded from white to a slight beige. Breakfast was excellent, but it could use some adjustments. Excellent fruit salad and plums, as well as a choice of breads. Perhaps a nice granola could use a little more options, perhaps. It felt like it was being run on a fairly modest budget without the need for renovations.

Our two nights were reserved by trailfinders in the uk. After checking out TripAdvisor and the hotel website, we were eager to stay at this hotel. In general, the term boutique hotel is overworked to the point that it implies nothing more than a small hotel. Apart from that, after booking the chapel room and seeing the photo on the website, this hotel appeared to offer something truly amazing. In many ways, it is excellent, but it did not quite live up to our expectations as it did for a number of other visitors. Rod gave us a warm and professional greeting, and the advice and assistance he provided to schedule local attractions, two excellent restaurants, and suggest the best route around the ago peninsula are what made us achieve our relatively high rating. Our visit in Dunedin was greatly enhanced by his assistance. A bottle of wine, as well as a glass of wine with other guests at 5 am, is a lovely touch. The chapel room is undoubtedly impressive, indicating its origin and delicate conversion. But it is truly spartan. Though there are no blinds or curtains, the stained glass windows are lovely, which cause the guarantee shower room to be unclean. A common fridge is also present downstairs, though there is a fridge and a telephone in the room. When entering the parking lot, the general vibe is upbeat, lacking the warmth beneath. Although the continental breakfast is excellent

This was a great place for a long weekend in Dunedin. It's on a hill with an excellent position, is also quite close to the city, and offers excellent views of the stone church nearby. We upgraded to the chapel room, which faces the city and has beautiful arched ceiling beams and trusses. The side walls have arched stained glass windows. We spent a little bit more, but it came with a great pint noir.

This place is fantastic. This is the place to stay if you want exceptional service and suggestions for day trips and restraints as well as local history. This room has an amazing view and architectural character. We were given a suite based on its spacious size and architectural character. They also came with charm and elegance. The renovation of this historic building is done with comfort and beauty in mind and it is simple and thoughtful. The colors are subtle and intriguing, the materials are original, and everything overall feels very satisfying, nothing is out of the way. It is both simple and elegant. And from our room's balcony, we enjoy a breathtaking view of the harbor.

On our journey around South Island, we remained here for four nights, and we werent let down. Rod was incredibly cordial and accommodating in recommending restaurants and places to eat. It was in my opinion a really pleasant touch to have early evening drinks and meet other visitors. The motel has been carefully restored to preserve its original character and character. It was calm and had a nice atmosphere. All guests are invited to use the shared fridge, which was very helpful, particularly since we were using a combination of self catering and hotels during our vacation. I enjoyed the breakfasts, particularly the fruit salad with black doris plums. Our accommodation was incredibly comfy, had everything we needed and breathtaking views. What a unique location. We appreciate everyone, Rod, and Shelley, for a lovely visit. We liked your humor and conversation!.
