The other rooms looked fantastic. The bathroom is lacking in shampoos and other amenities. I would have been happier if it had been $50 less. A little overpriced for the room, but the lady who works there is pleasant. Nice, tidy, and tidy room. Wanaka view (room 2 with no view).

The location is excellent, within walking distance to restaurants and bars in wanaka. The cabins are modestly sized but reasonably priced, and they come equipped with a sizable drying area for your snow gear. Pip was incredibly kind, lending us card games when the mountain was closed, offering recommendations for nearby restaurants as well as umbrellas when it rained.

This motel was ideal for us. It was spotless, conveniently located near the city, and incredibly welcoming. We feel more at ease and content after staying there. Without a doubt, i would suggest it.

The location is great, 5 minutes walk from town and 1 minute walk to the lake. The view is beautiful and the staff are friendly and have some delicious recommendations. There is a laundry room for all your dirty clothes and there is wifi which is very good. I will come back here again.

Stop! Dont waste your time looking for other lodging. In my two weeks of traveling there, this is the one i remember the most, great facilities, clean, one of the nicest beds ive ever slept in, and the staff really makes you feel at home. On a clear day, you are guaranteed to wake up to dazzling views. Some excellent restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. This is why ill give these guys ten stars, thank you.

I frequently travel for business and heartily endorse it. Pip is a wonderful host, making checking in and out really simple. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, equipped with all the necessities. Enjoying beautiful views and merely requiring ten minutes to get into town.

The location is close to supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Very clean, comfortable and in a convenient location with restaurants, pubs and supermarket just stepping away. In the kitchen of the apartment there is tv with cc, stove, microwave and large fridge. Great place!.

Pip is a very friendly, approachable, and helpful person. Checkin was all organized as per email. The motel was clean. Its merely walked to the shops and the lake. Rooms are very warm which is great in the winter.

I recommend this place. It is located next to the town and offers a view of ponds and lakes. The rooms are private and spacious, in quaint motels with friendly staff.

We stayed in three units for three family groups. All of the units were roomy, cozy, and immaculate. The location couldnt have been nicer, with a drying area for snow gear. Its really simple to stroll to the lakeside shops and cafes. Pip, the proprietor, is lovely and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do and see. We had the best day in and around wanaka.

This place is recommended to any small group of friends or family who want to spend time in wanaka. Such a beautiful and cute chalet! Although they are small, the space was extremely cozy, warm, and reasonably priced. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake are breathtaking every day right outside your door. Its about ten minutes walk across trough oval to the main street on the waterfront, so its still close to everything. Our checkin process was incredibly simple, she gave us id emailed her and gave me some great restaurant recommendations. She also went above and beyond to make sure the heaters in our rooms were turned on at sundown if we were out so we would return to cosy chalet after dinner.

I didnt have the pleasure of staying at the wanaka view motel, but i did get a taste of what their hospitality is like. I made an unintentional reservation for my hotel on the incorrect date, and pip was amazing in agreeing to refund 50% of my stay and helping me rebook my accommodation with them on that exact date. Unfortunately, the hotel is fully booked for the dates ive planned to be in town, yet despite this, ill be very grateful for how kind and accommodating the staff was. Im hoping to stay here again in the future. Thank you, pipp!.

One of the best places ive stayed in new zealand. The hosts were very nice, and my room, no. 2, was cute, comfortable, with everything i needed. Will happily return. And its only a short walk to the main street.

The next time i visit wanaka, ill undoubtedly be a returning customer. This was my second visit to wanagawa, and ive only stayed here once before. Both the town and the lake are two minutes away. I had made arrangements for my late checkin, which included all the necessary cooking supplies and tools. The room was tastefully furnished, immaculate, with all of the appropriate cooking appliances and dishes. There was sanitizing the shower, both pleasant and hot, as well as the bed being so comfortable. A wonderful benefit was also the use of bikes. I highly recommend this place for your stay in wanaka. I recently had the most enjoyable 3 night stay at the waanaka view motel. It was a pleasure to come home to with warm and comfortable bedrooms and plenty of lounge and kitchen facilities. The best location if you want to explore wanagawa on foot and offers spectacular views of the lake and mountains. Pip is amiable and helpful host especially i need some local knowledge.

This place has a great location! The hotel is directly across from sandstone, which is right in front of the lake. It is also very close to the town center, with many restaurants, shops, and grocers. The motel offers private parking, laundry facilities, free bike rentals, as well as free camping chairs. We reserved i booked he one bedroom with separate bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen with lake views. Modern and spotless. Everything you need for dinner was in the kitchen. Since we visited in November, it was quite warm, but for the colder months, heaters and electric blankets are placed under the sheets. Rob Roy glacier trail is only one hour away, while the hotel itself is very near to roys peak trailhead. So, we decided to stay in wanaka and just go on tasting trips to queenstown and Arrowtown. Cardrona ski resort is on the way to Queensville and is relatively close by the hotels proximity, so that may be an option if we return during the ski season.
