Flott hotell på bra beliggenhet med topp sjøutsikt over kaiområdet. Ligger i kort gåavstand fra togstasjonen. Ingen støy fra togene eller andre ting. Innholdsrik og nydelig frokostbuffet og herlig (les bløt) seng. Paraplyer til leie ved utgangen. Dette er et hotell jeg lett velger neste gang!

We loved our stay at the Clarion Hotel Trondheim! It sits right on the harbor and was conveniently located near the Trondheim Central Station. Pros: - Trondheim is a very walkable city and the Clarion gave easy access to the downtown area through a few different routes. - It was less than a 10 minute walk (with 3 rolling bags) from the Central Station and then about a 10 minute walk to the Hurtigruten port. - Comfortable rooms: bed, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a little window that opened. - The breakfast buffet was the best that we experienced in all our hotel stays. It was pretty amazing. - Love, love, love that in all the hotels we stayed in in Norway we needed to put one of our key cards into a slot in our room to activate the electricity. Cons: None..... It was a great place to stay.

Our stay at the Clarion Hotel Trondheim was exceptional from the moment we arrived, thanks in large part to Sofia at the front desk. She was welcoming, efficient, and genuinely committed to making our visit smooth and enjoyable. When our TV remote stopped working, she didn’t just send someone—she personally brought fresh batteries to our room with a smile. That level of attentiveness is rare, and it set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and perfectly located, but it’s the staff—especially Sofia—who elevate the experience. We also enjoyed an excellent supper at the hotel restaurant, which exceeded our expectations in both quality and service. The dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and served promptly despite a busy dining room. It’s clear the kitchen and service teams take real pride in what they do. Between the outstanding meal and the thoughtful hospitality throughout the hotel, the Clarion delivered a stay that felt both comfortable and memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others.

Schönes, komfortables Hotel mit super Frühstück und gutem Restaurant. Mehr beraucht man nicht. Einzig der Hotelparkplatz ist nicht gerade günstig mit 784 NOK für zwei Nächte.

Hotel employees were striking when we arrived but the hotel was still well run. The breakfast buffet was still excellent and a to-go breakfast was packed for us the day we left on an early train.

Vi bodde der en helg. Rommet var lite, men ganske bra. Vi savnet noe så enkelt som Kleenex - kun dopapir der. Dusjen spruter utover hele badet uten at det var et dedikert håndkle til å tørke gulvet med. Rommet ble heller ikke rengjort og håndklær ikke skiftet på dag 2. kanskje på grunn av streiken. Frokosten var veldig bra med godt utvalg. Det var også baren i 9. etasje.
