The hotel was cozy, sanitized, and welcoming. The room was simple but comfortable, with a single bed and a cupboard as well as a walk-in shower. Dinner was tasty, and breakfast was plentiful. Wifi was reliable. Bring trail shoes in the winter if you run, as the local trails are stunning. I would be happy to stay here again.

This hotel is very good, I only advise it because it is close to the sales and trails. The rooms are spacious and have enough space. The breakfast here is so varied. The owner are very courteous and always happy to help, so we have a pleasant stay there.

Due to a crosscountryskiweekend, we had a nice weekend at the keen hotel. We arrived Friday afternoon and remained until Sunday. This was our first experience staying in the hotel as well as in this region of Norway. The hotel was incredible throughout, beautifully designed to reflect the historic importance of the hotel and the location, and we had a nice, cozy ambiance there. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, and it was spotless! Due to disk issues in my back, it is always a problem for the bed to be excellent! It was simple to see and select the ski slopes for the day because it was right outside the door. With the app skisporet, it was simple to see and select the desired ski slopes for the day. So, we were well taken care of from a hectic daily grind after a pleasant stay in this lovely, peaceful setting. A hotwater boiler in the room was the only thing that was missing, so it would have been nice to have a warm cup of tea when we went back to the hotel after skiing.

This is a small family run historic hotel with a restaurant in-house, with crosscountry trails starting right outside the door and a 15-20 minute drive from a trail ski resort for alpine skiing. We stayed from Friday until Sunday. Our pre-stay communication with the hotel was excellent, arranging for a late arrival on Friday. The hotel owner, the host family, is warm, friendly, and always ready for anything you need. They are originally Dutch but moved here a decade ago or so, so as norwegian as can be. The interior design of the hotel room 107, the restaurant, bar, and lobby area are designed as a boutique hotel in a rustic mountain natureinspired design with a vintage touch. Our shower, toiletries, and dryer were all from the is. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice with plenty of storage. There was also a small seating space in the room which was great to relax and unwind. Its a pleasant to know that wifi is free. The hotel is very clean. In fact, it is absolutely clean. For dinner we enjoyed the hotels a la carte menu and chose elk meatballs with brown goat cheese sauce and lingonberry jam. But all in all, the bar is welcoming and the perfect spot to end a lovely day with a nightcap. We ended up talking to the younger generation of the
