The location is in front of the larger, nicer skiing hotel, so you should not be confused. The room was quite large and refurbished with a stunning modern interior. Even though we were in a room right next to the road, the room was very quiet. We did not find any blackout shades that completely block out the midnight sun. The breakfast was pretty nice for a small hotel we only saw three other tables there. The food was a nice spread. Both the dining and room were quite clean and nice. The front desk employee was quite welcoming and helpful. We would stay there again, but we would always try to get a room away from the road!. We only spent one night in this hotel. It is right across from the larger and nicer hotel skier, so from the outside we thought, yikes, we chose the wrong hotel. But the room was quite big and completely updated with a very stylish, modern interior. We were in a room right by the road, but it was fairly peaceful. We found that none of the blackout shades completely block out the midnight sun, but we got a good night's sleep.

Appeal gjestetun served great for my family on our skiing vacation. We were quite intimidated by the norwegian prices, but gjestetun was an option we could afford. It was a fantastic place to stay while skiing. We took the free bus to get from the hotel to the mountains, which is only a short, scenic trip. And they also bring you home from the mountain at the end of the day. That was a huge help because we didn't have a car. The rooms are fantastic. Theyre spacious and spacious, and the beds are great. Lots of space with a very interesting design. I never slept in a bed like that before, with posts and even a canopy on top. It felt really norwegian to me. There is even a kitchen right in the room for making something hot after a long day on the sky. A huge added bonus was the hot spa that was right down the hallway from our room. I used it every day, and it is clear that the sauna makes the ski trip more authentic. Finally, the staff was extremely friendly. Because gjestetun is a motel, I wasnt sure what to expect, but the service was first rate. The staff treated me and my family like valued guests. Where else can you find that!.

Dont let the exterior deter you. Although the beds werent particularly comfy, they were fine for one night. Even though the beds werent particularly comfortable, we had everything we required and a good night's sleep. In the summer, it's sort of a ghost town, so I assume the atmosphere will be quite different during the ski season. You can have a delicious brunch at the bakery cafe across the street. There is a microwave, fridge, and range in the room, so don't make the mistake of buying a frozen pizza for dinner because there is no oven. A reasonably priced place to stay for the night for far less money than the hotel next door.

The bedrooms are cozy and clean. I was able to fit my wife and me and three children comfortably in one room and gave room for another. The hotel is situated in the heart of town directly next to the ski resort. The room also has a small kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and cupboard space. There is also a good channel including the bbd news channel. This hotel is better in terms of room space than the ski resort. I have stayed in both. Breakfast, on the other hand, is the worst. Rather, it seems to be provided and run by wang House, which is a nighttime Chinese restaurant but is still on the hotel grounds just above the reception area. There was only ever one staff member on duty, so service is slow, if at all. Breakfast consists of freshly purchased sliced bread, not even taken out of the package, and tossed into a basket. There are also some fresh options, such as fresh eggs, smoothies, sandwiches, breads, and other handmade items. During the five days we were there, we only saw a tiny bowl of sliced oranges on offer. Everything is freshly cooked and comes with a lovely variety of artisan pastries, smoothies, sandwiches, breads, and other handmade pieces. Theres also a wide variety of items such as beers and other beverages and foods and products not readily available
