Second stay here. Perfect location if you are there to hike or enjoy nature. The hotel resturant serves very good food at reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly, and atmosphere is cosy. Recommend!

We loved our stay here. VERY nice staff (in particular Mathis) & amazing environnement. Some technical issues (lift, swimming pool), room could be refreshed but it’s a very good quality/price balance for Norway!

Site magnifique, avec des options infinies pour la randonnée à proximité. Accueil et service sympathique. Excellente nourriture au restaurant. Et quelle vue sur les montagnes! Le petit déjeuner inclus est parfait. Hébergement rustique mais confortable.

Savner vegansk pålegg til frokost: hvitost, veggerøre, vegansk kjøttpålegg. Satte pris på at det ble satt frem avacado og hummus til frokostbufféen. Hummusen var veldig god, men Avacadoen bør ikke saltes. Go'Vegan har mange fine produkter. Hyggelig betjening og trivelig atmosfære. Stoler på rommet var vonde å sitte i grunnet hard rygg. Tre-sengsrom bør ha tre stoler (vi var tre, bare to stoler). Når dere i fremtiden bytter ut sengetøy, er det kurt å gå over til syntetisk med hensyn til allergikere.

Veldig glad vi tok turen hit. Naturen er majestetisk. Utsikten fra rommet er som noe fra en film. Dette er ett gammelt hotell, men under oppussing/oppgradering. Så har man dette i baktankene, så er hotellet veldig bra. Det er en sjarm der, som føles helt rett. Og det er godt å se de bevarer mye. Det er gratis parkering og wifi. Hyttene kan jeg ikke si noe om. Hotellet har ett flott basseng, badstu og Jacuzzi. (men sistnevnte var avskrudd) litt skuffet, men forståelig med strøm prisene. 2 flotte peis stuer. Og det er ett hav av brettspill man kan benytte seg av fritt. Hærlig❤️ Restauranten: Frokost buffeten var veldig god, men kanskje litt snau. Hen hadde det essensielle. Lunsj kan kjøpes fritt. Og middag, da er det bord reservering som gjelder. Her er det hotell gjester og hvem som helst som kan spise. Menyen så fantastisk ut. Og maten smakte lige så. Desserter. Her testet vi eplekake med is. Vil med hånda på hjerte si at det var den desidert beste versjonen jeg noen sinne har smakt i mitt 42årige liv! Alt i alt var vi super fornøyde😊 Kommer gledelig tilbake.

Hotellet har noen utfordringer med å ha godt smittevern. Vi opplevde det spesielt under frokosten. For mange, for tett ved buféen. Alle tok i samme serveringsbestikk. Når ikke gjestene selv tar hensyn, burde munnbind vært påbudt.

Fint hotell, litt nedslitt. For lite folk på jobb så ting kunne ta tid, men når man først fikk hjelp fikk man fantastisk hjelp! De som jobbet der var kjempe flinke!

Hej! We enjoyed very much our stay in Rondane. However, some points that can be improved upon are mentioned here 1). There was no hangers in the wardrobe, not even the pin to put hangers on (see enclosed photo). We mentioned this to the reception but they said they could do nothing (except give us one (1) extra hanger). Perhaps they misunderstood (the point being that there was no place to put the hanger on), but anyway, we find it remarkable to provide a hotel room with no space to hang clothes, in particular a hotel like this where guests are very likely to do trekking and return with wet clothes that needs to dry... 2) The breakfast didn't open until 8am. Also remarkable! I mean, people come to this kind of hotel to spend time outdoor and now we had to wait several hours before we could leave the hotel for our trekking experiences. Well, thanks to the very friendly staff we could get some breakfast a bit earlier, but still, we never been to a hotel with so late opening hours for breakfast (on a weekday) and this will be a reason to never return to this particular hotel again. Sorry, this is just not good enough!
