Clean, comfortable room. Staff was very attentive and responsive. Excellent views. Short walk to plaza, archeological park and train station. We departed before breakfast was served, so they packed us to go bags! Excellent value!

The hotel does not have any problems. On the road leading to Machu Pichu, it has traffic all night, so there's a lot of noise. The front desk didn't speak much English, but no problem communicating. The hotel packed us breakfast as we left on the train before breakfast hours. Overall, a basic clean hotel for the price.

In this hostel, we stayed in a private room. The windows leak air and sound like paper, so be prepared for cold nights. You can imagine the noise from the henhouse right next door. There is also a river directly outside the room window, so there was constant noise. The WiFi was working, and the shower was ok. Sometimes the water wasn't hot enough, but if necessary, it was still manageable. The location was ideal, close to the railway station where everyone is going anyway. Breakfast was of high quality for a hostel.

I've had a great experience when I stayed at Mambo de ollantay in July 2019. The staff was amazing, extremely kind, and accommodating. The rooms were adorable, as they are in most places in Peru, and were maintained very well. We had a lovely view of the creek behind the structure. Everyone in this quaint town was friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The only thing I regret is I didn't stay here more than one night! Most wonderful regards, Cassie.

In June 2018, I stayed with 16 students and 3 adults for two nights. The room was not heated, it was 35 degrees outside. There was no hot water in the room. There were cockroaches in several of the rooms. The breakfast and wi-fi were decent, and the proximity to the train station was a huge plus. Those looking for a comfortable stay may want to look elsewhere in the hotel.

This hotel is situated on the river. The sound provided a relaxing night's sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. We had to leave the hostel before the free breakfast, and the hostess gave us a wonderful sack breakfast. We didn't ask for it, she just did it. I strongly recommend this hotel.

O hotel é novo, mas não acabado. Não há penduradores de toalha no banheiro, há uma televisão que não tem controle remoto, a rua é bastante barulhenta, não há janelas anti ruídos, os travesseiros são ruins. O chuveiro é bom, mas o café da manhã não passa de um pão seco com margarina e ovos mexidos. O valor da diária é demasiado alto para o que se oferece.
