Let's say you want a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant environment to stay at. I think this resort gives you that. But the thing is, the mosquitoes abound, the pool is not heated, the hair dryer is not available, and the majority of the comfort rooms in each room are outdated and untidy. The food is great and the service is warm, but there will always be something that can trump the positive things you can say about this hotel. Come to this place if you want comfort and relaxation. There are other hotels that can provide more if you want something more.

The training was wonderful. The cuisine was delicious. The souvenir shop personnel was very accommodating! The house type rooms: 1 lot, 3 bedrooms, and 1 comfy room, I don't like them. I must wait for them to finish before I can use it.

I booked 3 rooms with 3 bedrooms in the family villa. That is like an apartment. But in the room, the size is huge and can accommodate around 7 people. I stayed there and I got free bottled water. Wifi was very weak inside the room. I had to stay outside in the sala. They have a garden where you can host your events outside parties. Good for relaxation and family trips training.

We had a very difficult time getting to the hotel as what was advertised here’s under ‘Bali Village Hotel’ when we were not advised about their change of name to ‘Hortz Hotels and Resorts.’ More than expecting it to be searchable on waze, we had to ask a number of people on the road where Bali Village was. No one knew. What’s pinned on waze is vague, not to mention. The indicated contact number on this Hotels.Com site re Bali village is non-existent too so there would be no way for new customers to find what they have booked for except if they had Dora the explorer’s skills. We had to circle around Tagaytay for nearly an hour to find a knowledgeable samaritan about the new resort. Not going to discount the fact that the place is beautiful and the staff were more than accommodating. Plus points for allowing us to take our dogs along. I have to mention that food in Tipanan was excellent! The serving was big enough for 2 people each viand and that I would definitely come back to the property even for a random weekend dining.

1. Employees in hotel does not know our booking. 2. I was waiting at the entrance for 40mins to check our booking. 3. So many insects, cannot sleep well 4. They got my ID, well did mot return during check-out.. well I am screwed now
