This is an old hotel, but glad I stayed. Had a front room, stunning view from the 5th floor out into the ocean. The view is even while sitting on the bed. Note: when you come out of the hotel, go right, past the pier, to where the six giant markets are, find the seafood, we bought lobster, crab, shrimp, then walk back the opposite direction, past the hotel, keep walking till you see all the little shops cooking food, they will cook your seafood for a very small price. There are about 20 long tables, with 20 chairs each, will a complete water view.

The location is very comfortable. The hotel staffs were friendly. The hotel is very accessible to port, downtown, and route to towns. The hotel needs upgrading, however it is very clean. Their cafe has the best brewed coffee in whole Ormoc literary. Not expensive. Overall, I had a gread stay. Thanks! Antonia

Check-in and check-out was quick and hassle free. The personnel who assisted me was polite and hospitable as well as the front desk personnel. Location is perfect as it is near establishments and food stalls as well as a park. Specifically chose this hotel for its nice location, accessibility, and view. Maybe just needs to add a complimentary drinking water. Overall, my stay was good. 👍

It's just a walk away from the port area. Very accessible to food chains and convenience store. Very near the plaza, museum, food park, and coffee shop.

落ち着いた雰囲気のホテルで、窓からは海やライトアップされた噴水のある公園が眺められます。公園のベンチで寝ている人や子ども連れの家族もいましたが、まとまり付いてくることも、お金を欲しがる様子もなく、安心して散歩もできました。

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Hafen von Ormoc. Das gebuchte Zimmer war geräumig, hatte einen Balkon und tollen Meerblick auf den Ozean. Im Zimmer alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Safe an der Rezeption. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm.

Only bad part was a truck horn 2x in the middle of the night. Weak wifi. Stopped working in the rooms in the morning. Good money worth while I was there and it was beside the fastcat and all shops.

Hotel Don Felipe is quite an old hotel so it does have a very rustic vibe. The staff were really lovely and helpful. Rooms were made up almost immediately after you left your room. Room service is available and there is a cafe in the main lobby which you can order from and have your food brought up to you. As the hotel is quite old, the furnishings were a little bit out dated but our stay was really pleasant as we had everything we needed.

The view was great including the ocean, the coloured fountain at night. The breakfast in the coffee shop was also good. There was appropriate security at the door. The staff were friendly and helpful particularly organising our transfers from and to Tacloban airport. The noise from the bus station across the road was a bit annoying. The wifi was down but no fault of Don Filipe Hotel. A great stay
