everything i had hoped for and more beautiful white sand beach raked every day by the staff ,kayaking in the ocean , snorkeling, its all so natural and pristine giant petrified oyster shells buried in the sand at least 10 ft in diameter a truly amazing experience .the food is excellent and a very nice well maintained pool and on the island of bohol the beaches are all open you can walk for miles on the beautiful white sand

Overall, our stay was pleasant, mostly because of the friendly individuals who ran the resort rather than the resort itself. We were given a Filipino hut overlooking the sea by the owner for P 2500.00 including breakfast. The hut has a small balcony, but it requires some maintenance. The room itself is clean and has enough room to move. Air conditioning is cool. The bed is solid. The blanket is very thin. The pillows are adequate. The bathroom and toilet are small and require maintenance, but are clean and scentless. It may be too small for some. Because it is summertime, we had hot water. The staff is pleasant and helpful. polite and considerate. The food was excellent. But this varies depending on what you order. Go simple. They have a pool. We didn't use it when we arrived in Anda for its beaches. The resort has a beach, but it differs from the famed powdery white beach on the finale beach of Anda. It's part white sand and part rough coral. But still white.

La Petra was where we stayed for two nights. Because it was inexpensive, but that does not detract from the standard of the room and service. Except for the manager who attempted to rip us off with the rental of scooters, the personnel was welcoming. We rented two scooters and inquired about the price before taking a day trip. When we returned, she informed us that the price was just for one scooter. She tried to blame us, saying it was an employee mistake, so she would get his salary back, which was a complete lie. The restaurant's food was average, there are no fresh drinks, and the restrooms were terrible.

Some mixed feelings about this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel very welcome, which is the main benefit of this resort. The breakfast was good, and the food in general was ok. However, the beer ran out during our stay, which was a bit annoying. The rooms are a bit dated. The ac works well, but makes a lot of noise. The pillows were high, and hard as rocks. Had difficulty sleeping. Lots of mosquitoes, so prepare for that the pool appeared clean, but I never used it. Beach area is not much developed. There is no sunbed and no places to buy drinks or anything like that on the beach. Never felt like swimming here because the beach and water seemed a bit dirty and looked very shallow far into the water. It was the same around all the resorts nearby though. Its a lot cheaper than the neighbouring white beach, and I or seemed cleaner and up to date, but I personally don't think the beach area was nice enough to justify the prices you have to pay there. Had I known what I know today, Id have chosen a resort closer to Anda town, as the beaches there seemed to be much nicer and there were more choices for food and drinks. It was really quiet, that's for sure, so if that's what

I was in La Petra for the first time in 2010 while the pool was under construction. The next day, April 28, 2018, I returned with my family and was even more amazed than the first. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view. The swimming pool was also very clean. Also the food was top-notch, you must try the American potato salad and the coldest beer in Boho. The service was also superior. Bravo to the owner and her staff. We'll go back.

I really like this hotel because of its great location, and the staff, and the rooms are worth the price. Overall a decent stay, I will definitely return, however, I would like to have a clean room without the bugs, or dead bugs on pillows and in the water that never works. Nevertheless, the staff is kind and willing to upgrade everything.

We were so happy to get there after 3 hours driving from the capital. We had no idea it was so far. please put on your ad how far it is as we did not have a map of bohol and had no idea where your resort was. Food was good though, do not serve shell fish with your noodles, we got sick. It tasted wonderful only found out the next day.Reasonable price too. Great staff very helpful. Lovely pool.

The employee named May-en is a lovely lady, and we enjoyed her service. Generally speaking the maintenance work wasn't well done, the traffic road to the resort was horrible, and the room with view got problem with heating water. The owner is an energetic lady Inday who speaks fluent English, very hostile. And I agree with her point of view such as "kids, don't beg, try to work something out to earn your penny." If the coast line can be protected, and try to work the resort with more manpower or efforts, actually it can be a paradise for divers.

A beautiful and modern swimming pool with a beautiful beach. Standard rooms are in poor condition, poorly furnished. Breakfast is rather poor.

Would have stayed 6 nights, checked out after 4. Was simply too badly run hotel. + Nice staff - No room cleaning. -The air conditioning was bad and sounded terrible, couldn't sleep .. - No water in the shower and the toilet barely worked. - The food at the hotel was very limited. Could have been a good hotel, but unfortunately it is too much that does not meet expectations.

Located at a beautiful place. decent room with air condition, but the bathroom was in a lousy condition. No access to WIFI. The staff struggled with getting food orders and bills right. If these issues were fixed, the stay would be a good bargain.

It was bad because there is no water in our bathroom! It's hard to stay if there is no water.
