This was a nice hotel, less than a minute walk to the white beach without breaking the bank. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The staff were extremely nice and polite, and upgraded our room when we requested to move to a room with a bigger bed since there were 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child). The room was on the smaller side but has everything you need including a fridge and a safe. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was great. You have to request for your room to be cleaned. It was a short walk to all the restaurants in the area. Overall, would come back here again the next time we would stay in Boracay Island. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 4-nights with my wife during our Valentine's Day vacation in Boracay. The property doesn't exude that classy-looking façade at first sight like some of the hotels nearby, but offers a very serene and comfortable accommodation for every guest. The hotel staff members were very polite and accommodating to our requests. They also serve delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, Salsa Resto was under renovation during our visit so we weren't able to try their other menu. It is located just walking distance to everything -the beach, good restaurants, souvenir shops, d'mall and other nice sights. The hotel offers laundry services too but of higher cost so they even suggested to try the shop just across the street that did a good job too. Overall, we recommend Serene La Playa to everyone who wishes to have a calm but lovely vacation in Boracay! ---Mike and Cleo

I definitely recommend this hotel! I loved that they have water bottle that you can use to get water from their dispenser and they also have clothesline to hang your wet clothes. Their in-house resto is also fab!!
