We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was ok. We took a bus to arrive at 430 a.m., and by 630, we were ready to check in. They also have a locked storage room for when you check out, but you need a place to put your luggage. From the restaurant, you can see a nice view of the rice terraces. Wifi is very limited and slow, only available at the restaurant. The food was average. You can visit the bakery on the corner of the street when you exit left of the lodge for a delicious breakfast.

I had high hopes because of a positive review about lonely planet 2018, and we paid a bit more for it. But, it was one of the worst places under the line in the country. We couldn't get it out of the room because of the smelly room and whole floor. The food was unsatisfactory and pricey. Plus they attempted to take money off the other teas we had picked, which were presumably not included in the breakfast drink, at breakfast. We tried to book a 2-day hike to Bated via Cambulo, but the salesperson didn't seem particularly convenient or trustworthy, so we went to the official office where you must pay an environmental fee or pay whatever that does. Good guide.

The room is quite simple but clean. There is hot shower which is needed as the mountain is a little cold. No but wifi which works ok. Get up early in the morning or the street will be nice to wake you up for sure. Room rates 900 is ok for what you get.

We stayed here for 2 days to explore Banquet, Bated and the surrounding area and were glad we did. The hospitality of the staff was incredible they arranged very reasonable private tours and took care of all the logistics. Just show up downstairs when it's time to go and have a great time learning about the history and the terraces. They drove you to the bus station. And when we ran out of cash due to non-working atms there is only one within an hour and it often doesn't work, they helped me greatly. The restaurant food is quite good and we liked everything we had. There are decent options and it is reasonably priced. The only drawback was the bathroom in our room was quite bad it's one of those showers next to the toilet and sink setups I've used before but the draining system wasn't working well, so there was standing water in the bathroom. Had to wear sandals.
