Fint litet hotell som låg bra till för promenader i den vackra staden. Nära många restauranger också. Bekväma sängar och lagom stort rum. Frukosten var helt ok men dyr tyckte vi. Är kanske de priserna här? Kanske inte ett femstjärnigt hotell- lite bedagat- men ändå gammaldags fint

Lovely little boutique hotel in a great location less than 10 mins walk to the main old town street. The adjacent island with many great restaurant options is even closer. We felt welcomed by the staff from the moment we arrived until we left, and they helped with anything we asked. The room itself was immaculately clean and cozy, with the only minor being it was quite dark especially in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold options. No issues leaving luggage after checking out. Overall,would stay again!

The most fantastic location, lovely staff. Rooms were slightly dated but so comfy and warm, bathrooms were stylish and new, beds so comfy and very little need was taken care of. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!!

A truly special stay in the heart of Gdańsk’s Old Town! Hotel Podewils is a beautiful 18th‑century Baroque mansion on the Motława River, offering a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are elegant, spacious, and very comfortable, with lovely details, great views over the river, and stylish marble bathrooms. The location is fantastic – right in the centre, yet peaceful and quiet, just steps from all the main sights, restaurants, and the marina. Breakfast is excellent, with a generous buffet and hot options, served in a lovely, characterful dining room. What really stands out is the service: the staff are warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, making every guest feel welcome and well cared for. The whole hotel has a romantic, intimate atmosphere, enhanced by its Rococo-style interiors and riverside setting. Highly recommended for a memorable, high‑quality stay in Gdańsk – a real gem that feels like a home in the city.

Veldig hyggelig personale i resepsjonen og til frokosten. God frokost, og nydelig oppdekket med stoffservietter og ekte sølvbestikk! Også mulighet å sitte ute i hagen ved elven. Koselig og lite hotell med masse sjarm og fantastisk utsikt til gamlebyen. Hotellet er bygd i 1727, og selv om det er rent og fint vedlikeholdt, så er det litt støvlukt på rommet. Vi ble oppgradert fra dobbeltrom til suite ved ankomst, en veldig hyggelig overraskelse. Flott og antikk innredning. Hvis du ønsker et hotell med glimrende beliggenhet i gamlebyen, og ønsker noe med mer stil og klassisk eleganse er dette hotellet perfekt. Lobbyområdet er imidlertid lite, og det er ikke noe kaffi eller annen servering utenom frokost.
