Nice place. Very clean and in a great location in the city. Walking to buses that take you to the hiking trails or shopping. There are so many cafes and restaurants around the corner. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. I will come back again!.

We recommend staying there and hope to return one day. In July 2019, we remained for roughly six days. There was a warm welcome as we arrived. They frequently provided us with detailed information and recommendations. The employees are eager to give you a fantastic experience about funerals and the island as well. They are knowledgeable about the area and can tell you about history and how inexpensive or touristy they are. We stayed in a double room. The space was pretty small, but we could arrange it ourselves. Besides the bed, there was about 2 square meters of space. A vanity and a clothes hanger were provided. Card entry to the room and hostel was offered. Unfortunately, there was only one card available for two individuals, so you ought to be careful not to leave the card in the room since there are no staff at night. There are plenty of tables, games of chess, cards, and more. The entire hostels interior is quite cosy, and there are plenty of tables, games of chess, and other items available. The kitchen is tidy and effective. There may be a lack of oil or spices. The restrooms are as clean as the interior of a hostel where many people use them. Water is decent. You get about one big roll of cheese, ham, salami, and one fruit that changes each day. Coffee and juice are also offered. greetings, arena

This place is really complete, I stayed there for 2 months and it came with clean and very neat hostel. But I have a problem with the kitchen here. After that, there's no washing machine. As for the food, it's unsanitary. And then the staff is very attentive. Then, we got a very clean room and a lovely design, but when they didn't have a washing machine, the kitchen is not properly equipped. Besides that, we also feel a little disappointed and disappointed.

The location is close to the city center, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are good. I stayed at one of these two properties, and the other is only 200 m away. The personnel were extremely helpful and amazing. I was welcomed by the staff, especially to Dahlia and Caroline, and they were extremely kind and helpful. Although it is a tiny street, be aware of the lots of traffic when choosing the rooms on the street side. The staff made sure to relocate me to another room without hesitation, another good sign of a well-run establishment. It was light and clean despite being recently renovated. The guesthouse area of the hostel is well worth upgrading if you have the opportunity. The guesthouse portion of the hostel is well worth upgrading if you have the option. It was bright and tidy after being renovated. The location was excellent, right across from a wine tasting facility in Madeira! Fantastic hot shower, balcony with a view of the courtyard, and the housekeepers who did a wonderful job each day. I will certainly be returning here.

I booked 2 nights at this hostel, but ended up spending almost 3 months there because it was the best value for money for funeral. All the receptionists were very friendly and kind, they became like family to me. Im very grateful for their help, especially to Joan with several problems during her long stay. It was very easy to meet other travelers and find hiking buddies if you were a solo traveler. The hostel itself has everything you need. When I left they planned some improvements, e.g. install a washing machine. It would also be great to replace some kitchen utensils with newer ones. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. I liked that it wasnt cold at all in the hostel during winter I had to use heater in other hostels I stayed in Madeira. The only advice is to use earplugs because the street outside is quite noisy in the morning. I highly recommend 29 hostel and will definitely stay there again if I ever come back to Madeira!.
