Lovely and comfy rooms. The most important problem is the lack of drawers for underwear and hangers. excellent staff raquel did an excellent job. Body lotion and shampooshavener on walls. All excellent. The shower works well, with plenty of hot water and clean towels. The bed linen is smooth and soft. The restaurant and bar personnel are all very friendly and helpful. I had to continue to ask for items to be replenished during breakfast. Breakfast is okay, but the eggs are overcooked and rubbery. The evening meals were awful. Throughout the chicken is smashed up with dangerous bone splinters. Heating lights dried the food out. No real vegetables or frozen. No real potatoes chips or processed potato products. Youll be fine if you're used to living on processed trash. I lost about half a stone, which was good. The soups are generally okay, and there is a microwave to heat up food it's all lukewarm. Salads are bland. Cakes are purchased. Fruit and cheese were tasty. Crackers were awful softstale. The cocktail of port is lovely. A man played music. The hotel pool area is lovely but the tennis court is sadly missing. We had to get a visa for a massage. For use of the gym, you must pay. There was a man playing music. Very ordinary hotel with broken tiles around the bath and the wash basin gasping. The staff in the dining area was very friendly, and the food was extremely varied and plentiful. At reception young david was excellent and helpful. You were given a card to get a towel for the pool, but we went to change it and the woman at reception wanted to charge us and said it was on the back of the card, I asked her if she expected us to keep them for two weeks and she relented and changed them for us. When I checked what was on the card, it only said that if you didn't return the towel or card, you would be charged 25 euros. We were expecting a relaxing time, but there appears to be many young sporty people who are quite noisy, so it wasn't the peaceful vacation we were looking forward to. Monte Gordo has woods either side of the town, which are suitable for walks and obviously the extremely long beach with fishing boats pulled up onto it. Very lovely. Not far from the Spanish border, you can take a ferry across the river.

Would unquestionably suggest this hotel and return. A lovely, spotless hotel existed from Boxing Dayfriday until December 2022. My companion and I both had distinct bedrooms when we reserved a superior doubletwin room, and we both had quite comfortable mattresses. The bathroom was dazzlingly clean, with a rain head shower, which is always a convenience. The room had a balcony on which to sit and watch the ocean. When the sun had disappeared behind the trees on most afternoons, we sat on the balcony, but it was still shining over the pool. Nothing was too much bother for the staff because they were extremely polite and accommodating. My friend inquired if we could have a kettle in our apartment, and when we got back to our room, there was one nearby. The pool area was spotless, with no issues with leaving towels around or sitting in the sun loungers. We had the best massage we'd ever received, and we both had the sensations full body massage! The spa was closed for return until Tuesday, after which we were not informed until someone in the bar informed us. The spa was closed for return, which was a little more relaxed than the outdoor pool. If you were in the pool, we had to wear a swim cap, which was a little odd. This hotel is clean and well-maintained. Suitable if you prefer a quiet stay. A nice shower with plenty of hot water near the town and prom. The place is disappointing by little things, the room is not equipped with coffee or tea maker, but in a hotel of this kind there should be a. The food selection is adequate, not bad, even for me as a non-vegetarian, but for breakfast and dinner, it was cold and not hot. The same serving tray with processed meat and cheese. The same serving tongs. Excellent staff. The staff at the dining table are very helpful. There are disabled sports enthusiasts from different nations. It was pleasant to speak with a lot of them. Did give the time some life.

I've always stayed at Salazar. I've always found the employees to be very attentive, amiable, and efficient. Nelson is always present at the hotel and is very kind. Ana, cristina, Silvia, David, and Hugo deserve special recognition from the fantastic reception staff. The bar Leandrobat seems to know every drink and is always courteous. The restaurant staff is always welcoming and friendly, miguel, three I ricardo, david, and alter. My maid, Maria, cleans my room every day to a very high standard with fresh towels. There is a pleasant variety of foods and entertainment five nights a week. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, and it is only a fiveminute walk away. The bedrooms are contemporary and cozy. Villa Real de San Antonio is only a brief bus ride or walk away. It's also simple to travel. Fast forward to Ayamonte, Spain in no time. I cannot wait to come back in february 2023, or agr 28 nights. I want to thank the Salazar crew for making me feel so welcome.
