This has to be the strangest place we've ever stayed in, is it a motel, an i, or a bar restaurant with rooms? It's a little bit of each, the position is amazing, four kilometers from town and set in a wood with stunning views of the bay and the whole of Figueira da. It has ten rooms, a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the pool, and that's it. No standard hotel amenities, no guest lounge area or regular reception. Just the rooms, which we found spotlessly clean but not very comfortable for a long stay 11 nights, the bed was very comfortable, nothing more, just a very little picnic table and two folding chairs, nothing else, no dressing table, no phone or coffee making facilities, a fridge in the bathroom but no plug in the basin despite requests for one to be given three times. The restaurant's food was ok, nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about, just ordinary local food, it was absolutely impossible to compare to the Brig da Montana restaurant 2 kilometers down the road and not even in the same class. The strangest aspect of Casa Pina is that when they finish up and close the restaurant at night, the proprietors simply lock the place up and go home! I shudder to think what would happen if there was any kind of emergency between 11.30

This hotel has a very nice location away from the main streets of Figueira da for you can find this very nice location with a beautiful view to the mare. It is good reachable by car and about 10 minutes from the city. A lot of signs helps to find the place and the street is known google maps and apple navigation. Parking lots right next to the rooms. The view over a big blue outside pool and the mare guide you to the restaurant bar. It has a Mediterranean flair inside and lots of possibilities to sit outside. The hotel rooms have the same with a small table. The room is medium with a nice bathroom in the same style as the restaurant. We had a good sleep and didn't need the air conditioning feature in October. The included breakfast was good with fresh made coffee.

Three months ago, we reserved a hotel for a party of 18 people for a big family vacation, and we paid their 300 deposit until May when we received a phone call announcing that the hotel was now sold and would be closed at the end of June. They said sorry and that they would return your deposit, so we now have 18 guests on the plane but no hotel. We appreciate that.
