I highly recommend staying at Dominican Hotel Fernando for it's best Portuguese hospitality. The location of this place is close to Louse Castle and the Old Cobbled streets and the Market. I got a clean room. The rooms are cosy and clean. Patricia English is very good. And she helped me arrange for bike hire.

We are tired and need a room so we get one too. It's perfect, the room also has a terrace with views of the market. The breakfast is very satisfying. The restaurant below is also recommended.

We chose this hotel because there werent any rooms available at our first choice on carnival weekend and it proved to be a good choice in most ways. The location is central next to the market and the staff is very friendly one speaks English. There were only two of us but we were given a beautiful, spacious family room with a double and two singles on the third floor there is a lift. We walked from Albufeira so we were thrilled to find two cans of ice cold sages in the small fridge along with soft drinks and water which were probably complimentary as there was no price list and we were not charged. The shower was beautiful and the television had many channels, including can and dubbed uk programs. onsite restaurant looks very busy but we ate elsewhere. The only downside for me was that the breakfast provided in a small cafe a few meters away was basic Portuguese food i. E. Bread, repacked croissants, sliced ham, processed cheese, cereal and set yoghurt. It was hard not to think of those other terrible breakfasts!.

The room's condition was very nice. Even with the small size, the price was worth the quality. The location was very close to the market. The owner made sure they had the gluten-free cereals that we requested, the bread was also gluten-free, and the cereal was so delicious. The en suite amenities were also included. The apartment had a double bed and two single beds, which was ideal for our three adults. All the necessary amenities were available. There was also a balcony with a view of the city center.

I stayed one night with my wife and daughter in a family room. Very clean and comfortable room. The decor was spartan and the bathroom was small, but overall it met our needs. Breakfast is very value for money
