I stay at Pensione Helvetia from July to July 2014. The staff and management were quite friendly. My room was immaculate, and they attended to all of my requests. I will be traveling to Bucharest several times and was so pleased with this hotel that I will always book here in the future! Single rooms cost 58 euros per night with reservations for 46 euros, and double rooms cost 68 euros per night with reservations for 60 euros. Breakfast is served every morning with a wide selection available. Every room has a shower and bath as well as free WiFi. I strongly advise booking at the Penisiuena Helvetia if you are staying in Bucharest. The day I flew home, I had to leave too early for breakfast, and the wonderful management delivered me sandwiches for my ride home. I give this hotel a 50 on a scale of 110.

Luckily, all the receptionists here speak English and are also friendly, the breakfast was very large and delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Normally, I travel frequently, but this one is perfect. Many thanks and I'll be back 100 times.

The location makes me decide to stay here. It's in a somewhat elite neighborhood close to the enormous herastrau park and Bucharest's terrible de trauma. I enjoy that it is very quiet at night and early in the morning. To reach the closest metro stop, it will take roughly 8 minutes, and a round trip to the old toxicity center takes 5 lei. To get to this location from the airport, it took me about 1720 lei. They have a small elevator, and the bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building appears to be a house from the outside, but I enjoy the homey vibe of this hotel. Sadly, the internet frequently shut down during my visit, otherwise, I would have given this place five stars. There are few bars and some expensive restaurants by Bucharest standards around this hotel. Overall, I had a good stay. I'd suggest it to solobusiness travelers who want peace and quiet away from Bucharest's busiest, more touristy areas.

I've now stayed here twice and have consistently found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The rooms have a mini fridge and the usual amenities. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and concludes with yogurt and cake to take with you.
