Menshikov hotel is situated in a small courtyard off the pedestrianised part of Lenin about a 7 minute walk downhill from Sovetskaya square. A bistro is next door, as well as a few other caferestaurants nearby. The hotel only provides rooms, but despite the lack of windows there are skylights, the rooms are clean, clean, and comfortable and they are secure.

I will recommend this place to you who want to travel to Europe. The atmosphere is quiet, the place is pedestrianized and peaceful, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. This is my 2 week trip to Trans Siberian. The room is comfortable and has a lovely air even if you can't open the skylight and also has a bath to relax after a day of sightseeing.

We stayed here in June and were really pleased with our choice. It's good value for money, friendly staff and a pleasant room in an excellent location, all the major attractions in walking distance and a sunny courtyard outside where we could relax. We could park easily around the corner and there was an adjacent restaurant as well as places to eat nearby.

I hope to use the reviews as well to give a personal perspective as I did in winter when it was 32 degrees outside in Trans Siberian. One benefit is Menshikov's proximity to the center. You only need to stay outside in 34, which takes about 20 minutes. The location was excellent for exploring and resting, with burbank for foreign exchange, the museum of plan use history, as well as groceries. Lenin head and buzz cafes are both no more than 10 minutes away on foot. The bookstore across the street is excellent for gifts and souvenirs. There is a restaurant on site. If you're so frozen that you can't sustain the blast of 30 outside, you can eat in the warm warmth of the restaurant, which is reasonably priced. There is a separate hot water unit per room in the shower. The staff is helpful in arranging taxis and showing me around the motel disclaimer I speak Russian. When calling taxis, they will describe the number plate and car color to you to meet outside, and others may have difficulty with this. Cons that are not the hotel's fault but rather the extreme weather 1. The rooms become cold when it is 30 or worse outside. Ladies, I advise showering once in a month in between morning and night. The water unit, though very hot, only lasts 10 minutes tops in 30 weather. Ladies, a recommended way to keep
