Baker's suite never disappoints, From the moment we walked in, the front office staff greeted us with a smile, we immediately felt at home and comfortable. the room is simple but clean, everything you would want to make your stay comfortable, from a small kitchenette to clean and fresh linen. Our time at Bakers was well spent, and we highly recommend. One thing I would recommend is darker drapes for the late sleepers.

The property was good, nice location and the room was super clean. The front desk clerk, Latoya, was super friendly and provided suggestions for where we could eat and even grab a few groceries. We had alot of bags, which she helped us carry to our room. Very impressed with the staff/service in the hotel. Thank you all.

We returned to Baker’s Suites one year after our first stay, again for 11 nights, and it truly felt like coming back to friends. The moment we arrived, Latoya, Alexia, Joycelyn, and Christena recognized us and welcomed us with the same warmth and kindness that made last year so memorable. That personal connection made this second visit feel even more special. Everything we appreciated before was still perfect — the unbeatable Simpson Bay location, the spacious and comfortable suites, and the easy access to Kim Sha Beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and transport. This year, the service felt even smoother and more polished, and our room was clean, quiet (located at the second floor at the back) and ideal for a longer stay. Sint Maarten remains a beautiful island, and Baker’s Suites has become a place we genuinely look forward to returning to. We hope to come back again next year.

My first time staying at a hotel vs. an all inclusive resort on an island and I must say I will be back. From the front desk staff Latoya to the housekeepers Christina and Joyce were all very sweet and welcoming. I even met the owner in the airport who was super nice and accommodating. I recommend this cozy gem for anyone including solo travelers. It's in walking distance to everything.

Loved the location; everything was easily accessible, with great restaurants within walking distance and Kim Sha Beach just across the road. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff. Alexia (GM), LaToya and Shanay at the front desk, and Joyce and Christine from housekeeping were all warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble—it genuinely felt like staying with family. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

My entire experience at Baker's Suites was top-notch from check-in to check out. The staff was beyond accommodating and helpful. Coming into the room with a personalized welcoming note is a meaningful touch. I had not reserved or set-up any transportation prior to my arrival because of scheduling changes and Alexia was extremely helpful with booking me a taxi driver for the next morning with very short notice. They also have a car rental company in the property that I also ended up using for one day. They found a car when they didn't have one available and had it waiting for me the next morning at the property, thank you Liz for that! The hotel is in a FANTASTIC location, steps away from the beach, literally, and around the corner from the Simpson Bay restaurant scene. I want to give a special thanks to the staff that I interacted with the most who made everyday so lovely: Shanay, Alexia, Latoya and specially Joyce**, but the entire team is spectacular and needs to be recognized. The warmth of the team makes such an impact. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat and hope to see the same lovely staff. Thank you for making my first time in St. Maarten so special.

We stayed in room 203 and it was so comfortable and cozy and clean! The AC kept the room cool and comfortable. The room was clean and well kept and smelled nice. Has a little balcony to go and get fresh air. The staff is great - LaToya and Alexia are wonderful and so friendly and helpful as is the housekeepers Joyce and Christine. I highly recommend this hotel if you want quaint and cozy and in the middle of everything which is amazing because you can walk everywhere!
