What a gem! Deceptive from the front - the small entrance opens into an amazing botanical garden. Anna-Lize is a delightful, attentive and helpful host. The rooms are well thought out, well-equipped even with plates, microwaves and fridges. Smashing breakfast! Lovely pool. Great value. What more could we ask for.

They provide a table that is placed directly outside the room so that we can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The room was spacious enough so we didn't feel claustrophobic.

This lodge has the most beautiful garden. Walking through this garden with its many roommates by nature itself and created with love by the owners makes you feel as though you are in heaven. Annalise was the ideal hostess and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful and memorable. The room was clean and fresh with lots of special touches, like the lovely embroidered linen and orchids on the dress table. The private deck in every room was a bonus and the view of the city was stunning. If you like a quiet place with all the amenities you need and the feeling of being in nature itself, this is the perfect place to stay. When visiting Nelphus, I will undoubtedly stay at this place again and can recommend this beautiful and very special guest house to everyone.

A nice hotel, with a clean and tidy facility. At night, annalise gets you in her room with a smile on her face. This place is nice and quiet. She will definitely come back to this place.

This place is in a very safe location with nice staff, incredible nature and very comfortable beds. The room was clean and the staff were friendly with homemade food. There is wi-fi connection in the room and relax at all times.

They serve tasty breakfast and make it really special. And then, Annalise and Do made us feel special and welcomed. After that, our bedroom was well decorated, and the garden is amazing. Subsequently, the breakfast was so amazing.

The reception was the most welcoming possible, the owners are very friendly and receptive. The beds are comfortable. The only problem we had, was that according to what I booked, breakfast was included and the room should have 3 single beds. Arriving there, we got initially a room with one double bed and one single bed but the owner spontaneously offered another additional room at no extra cost :-) but breakfast was not included according to the owners :- (. I had only the confirmation in portuguese stating it was included but the lady was so nice that I decided not to contest as she probably would not understand portuguese.
