This was the ideal location during our 10 day stay in Cape Town. Its ideal because you are very close to Table Mountain and therefore also close to the waterfront or Camps Bay. Theres always parking available which was helpful because we rented a car. Ben and his wife are very friendly and welcome us with open arms, so we felt like we were staying with friends! You can always ask for tips, they know the nontouristic gems. I loved my first floor room with an amazing view of the waterfront and the back table mountain. Breakfast in the morning has everything you need and if not, you can always suggest something. We will definitely be back!.

Would never hesitate to come back here again. If I could give this establishment 10 stars, I would. The Roland Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The house itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of both the city and table mountain. Benefit and his wife were lovely hosts and gave us wonderful dinner and activity advice. Because we had a late flight, they were so kind as to let us stay long after checkout.

I recently stayed at the roland lodge, Benefit and Franziska are wonderful hosts! It was the ideal location for getting around Cape Town and the location was great. Everything was fantastic, including breakfast, rooms, and weather. It is strongly recommended for a first visit to Cape Town. Jack.

To my mind, there is no better place to stay in Cape Town! The most obvious highlights, to name only a few, were the elegant and tasteful design of the house, the delightful moments on the porch, the generous breakfasts, and the perfectly and unbeatable scenic location of the house tucked under the mythical table mountain overlooking the city bay. All this became a tangible reality under the direction and overall care of Franziska and benefit. For our part, we'll be back. I hope everyone who reads this has a similar unforgettable experience!.

This location is so perfect, very close to the city center, and near the center, just at the foot of Table Mountain with a nice view from the city centre. The interior of this mansion is very unique with the different African art and materials. Nice terrace for cozy discussions and drinks. And then, the pool was small but very pleasant. After that, there are also the breakfast and the rooms, which are the best things. The second thing is the bar is so good.

Located in the residential area of Oranjezicht in Cape Town's City Bowl, South Africa, the hotel is central to the major and most popular destinations such as Table Mountain (3 minutes), the Victoria & Albert Waterfront and the Robben Island ferryboat to Mandela Museum (10 minutes), Clifton and Camps Bay beaches (7 minutes), the Cape Town International Convention Centre, as well as the free-way leading to Cape Town International Airport (around 20 minutes).
