Located right beside a quiet, peaceful stretch of beach the setting is perfect with beautiful views from the dining room. Just a short walk away is the waterfront with all its trendy restaurants. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk to the main beach and strip of eateries. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely honesty bar. All in all a superb venue for a weekend.

It was a wonderful visit to the Ocean Dunes guest house. We were able to walk straight out of our beach-facing room. Everything we needed was in the room. It felt so luxurious. The RP coffee and cake concept encouraged us to interact with other visitors, which was lovely. The entire staff was so kind and helpful.

After a few years of absence, Paternoster is back to me. As they say, it's the place, the place, and the location, and this one is perfectly located on the beach. The best accommodations are the right and left sides that face the beach. This time, we slept in the breeze and enjoyed the patio and the sounds of the waves. Plus points include better wifi, better breakfast with daily specials the birches muesli was delicious, as was yogurt with fruit salad and scrambled eggs with feta, avocado, and tomatoes. Even though I didn't miss the coffee maker and its pods, a pair of scissors to open those wobby instant coffee sachets and various coloured face cloths. Nothing better than an early espresso on the patio is better than an early espresso. Apart from the lack of a coffee maker, a few accounting issues, we were charged for two aperitifs we hadn't had that were immediately canceled, chasing payment but not acknowledging our bank transfer. No water in the refrigerator on arrival, so we had to request it 24 hours later. Additionally, there was no desk space in the room, so we were forced to work in a very uncomfortable position at each end of the credenza. While most people are only on vacation but not all retired and some digital nomads are still working

Overall the best place ever! The view is amazing, and the rooms are clean. The dining room views are breathtaking, the staff and the food are wonderful. They even arranged places to eat dinner for us! The village is stunning. Definitely a return!.
