We felt safe there and would recommend and visit again. We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon and couldn't have had a better time! The hotel is conveniently located right downtown, and we had a room in the tower wing with a mountain view, and let me tell you the view was priceless! I chose this hotel specifically for the view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head, and it did not disappoint. Count on Clinton at the front desk to give us a bottle of champagne and dessert, he really made us feel welcome and helped us get acclimated. Other staff was also extremely pleasant. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was excellent!

To be completely honest, I expected the taj in Cape Town to be a bit of a backwater, and my expectations were low. Not at all. The level of service at the taj in Cape Town was equal or better to that in Mumbai. The staff made my visit truly special, especially Melissa and Cynthia in the restaurant and not to mention innocent in the club lounge. The property is lovely and well-kept, spotlessly clean, and well-furnished. If I was being picky, the hotel does not have an outdoor pool. If it had an outdoor pool, this would be my two-week pool holiday option. Nevertheless, I would always choose the taj in Cape Town for my stay.

We have been coming to Tij Cape Town for years and recently we have been upgraded. That has always been a nice surprise and a sign of professional customer service and making sure we will come back. The only suggestion we would like to make is the next time we fill our minibar accordingly. It works. I'll be back to Taj.

I stayed one night in October. Arrived early and were very grateful that a room was available thank you very much for that. The room was large and immaculate with a great view of the table mountain. Comfortable bed. The hotel was just outside the harbor. We had dinner at an Indian restaurant. Service was good, the food was ok but lacked any heat so it was a bit bland. Easy to take a taxi back to the airport the next morning. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is great and in a great location. We will definitely stay here. The employees here were so friendly and helpful, even the receptionist, bar, and lounge staff were very helpful. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast. I highly suggest this hotel for business or pleasure.
