A nice start with excellent traditional Japanese cuisine. This place is the first time we spent a day there. The staff provided us with instructions. We chose traditional Japanese cuisine, and it was interesting. They treated us with amazing food. All this for very reasonable and affordable prices. Not many tourists, more local guests, so if you want to experience true Japanese, visit this place.

My wife and I arrived at Niagara and were directed to Unazuki, The issue with driving is that it takes about three hours. Therefore, along the route, we had to locate a nice hotel. Metropolitan exceeded our expectations, and it appears to cater more to groups than to individual travelers. The hotel personnel could not have been more friendly to us. Nothing was done exactly as we requested. We were informed that only mountain view rooms have private toilets and baths. We had the impression that mountain views are different from hillside views. It's still calming, green, and lovely. Although the hotel's public baths are hot spring water, it does not provide private hot spring baths, even though the area has its own hot springs. Our room was roomy and clean. Nevertheless, the hotel has not been maintained. The carpet in the hallways is dirty, the tatami has cigarette burns, and you have the impression that the hotel has reached its prime. We chose the premium package, which included a boat of fresh fish, and we were not let down. Anyone looking for excellent sashimi should think about staying here! Metropolitan is always considered a good location for a night or two. Sadly, the neighborhood itself is a bit uninteresting, and the hotel is not in a spot for strolls after dinner.
