到着後すぐにお部屋に案内してくださり手早くスーツケースのタイヤを履いて部屋に入れて翌日のモーニングの案内をしてくださりました。 6人部屋に5人で宿泊しましたが敷布団がダブル2枚シングル2枚、掛け布団は毛布が2枚、分厚くて重い掛け布団が3枚備えてありオンドルがある為暑くて毛布を人数分欲しかったなぁと思いました。モーニングは韓国の家庭料理を出してくださりとても美味しかったです。部屋にトイレ、シャワーもあり備え付けのシャンプー、リンス、石鹸がありました。 2泊でしたが２日目の夜はチキンをテイクアウトし部屋にある机で食べました。テレビもあり快適です。３日目のモーニングはお断りして近くに有名なパン屋さんがあるのでテイクアウトしてお部屋で食べてからチェックアウトをしました。程よく放置してくださるしチェックアウトも鍵を冷蔵庫の上に置くだけなので気軽に宿泊ができてよかったです。ゲストハウスの周りはとても素敵なお店やカフェ、人気のアーティストベーカリーもあるのでここに宿泊して本当に良かったです。

We stayed as a group of four—two adults and two kids. The room was a bit small but cozy, and overall, it was a very good experience for all of us. The kids really enjoyed sleeping on the futons. It took the adults a little time to get used to them, but it ended up being a very memorable stay. Breakfast was brought to our room, and we enjoyed leaving the door open to eat while taking in the quiet morning atmosphere. The location is great—just a short walk from Anguk Station and still manageable even with luggage. We loved being able to walk around the neighborhood, which is full of shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a wonderful traditional Korean-style accommodation.

This is an absolutely amazing place. It it tucked away in the middle of the Hanok village area and is within walking distance of the Changdeok Palace and Insadong. It was a perfect place for all of our activities. The hospitality of the staff is beyond amazing. From carrying your bags in, to accommodating arrival times While the site mentions their breakfast, it does not being to describe the experience. At around 8am you slide open the doors to your area and are presented loaded trays of freshly made traditional Korean foods to start your day. The soups and food are prepared in the courtyard. Our 2nd morning was chilly and the amazing gukbap soup was far better than a cup of coffee to get us started. There is also filtered water in the courtyard and the location is right beside 2 restaurants with multiple others and continence stores minutes away. On the comfort level, this is a Hanock, which means there are not beds. There are traditional sleeping mats and blankets. We were in the deluxe and a bit surprised of the actual size (about 6ft by 12ft in the main area. This may be an adjustment for some western travelers. We did have some struggles with luggage and getting settled in at night with 4 people and some large bags. We will get the larger room on our next visit. Temperature wise, we were very comfortable even though it was fairly cold. The bathroom also had a heated floor and was larger than other Korean hotels I've stayed in. Loved our visit!

Le logement, de type traditionnel, est très confortable et très pratique. Sophia Guesthouse est un endroit charmant, situé dans un quartier idéalement situé dans Séoul, entre Gyongbokgung, Changdeokgung et Insadong. Beaucoup de centres d'intérêt peuvent être rejoints à pieds et pour le reste la station de métro Anguk est très proche. Dans les environs immédiats, on trouve des restaurants, des cafés (il y a un glacier adorable juste au coin de l'impasse où se trouve le logement) et un musée d'art moderne et contemporains tout neuf ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux, idéal pour attaquer une journée de découverte de Séoul. Nous recommandons chalheureusement !

Location is perfect! Outside the guesthouse, there are cafe and Bar. Turn around to be the shopping street. Only 8 mins walk you can arrival Insadong and Samcheongdong. If you want to go shopping or enjoy Tea House or Tradition Korea food, this place is very convince. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. We love the room and it was very clean. The Breakfast was very yummy. I took my family there two days ago, we have super great time there. If we come to Seoul again, for sure we will stay here.

My stay was really nice! I was sent a confirmation text right after booking with directions from the subway station to the guesthouse and it was pretty easy to find. The area it's surrounded by is really nice and right next to a bunch of museums and palaces! It's also surrounded by tons of shops, cafes, and restaurants. I chose to travel around, but I could have easily stayed in that area with zero problems. The staff were incredibly friendly and knew a bit of English. The single room is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it was still really nice, clean, and has plenty of room for me and my things. You also get a private bathroom. It's small, but average for most Korean style bathrooms and had everything I needed. There's an AC unit inside the room, too, and the floor is heated, so I was super comfortable. If I had to guess the size laying down, I would say it's about roughly 185-190 cm, so, if you're taller than that, it might be a bit of a squeeze. Breakfast was served in the morning (homemade bibimbap) and was really lovely. The garden area is just as pictured. I would absolutely book again!

If traveling to Korea, experience a traditional guest house. Sophia Guest House was amazing, the owners living right there attentive to every need. Walk out the door to microbreweries, restaurants, locals, tourists, the palace, everything! The kids are still asking to return, to sleep on the heated floors, and enjoy the attention of the family.

객실이 깔끔하고 문을 열어놓으면 다른 작은 마당이 보여서 명상하기 좋았어요 욕실바닥에도 난방이 들어와서 쾌적하구요 아침에 과일이 제공되는 식사라서 간단하게 드시는 분들은 좋을 거 같아요 전 아침식사를 안해서 커피만 마셨는데 그 잠깐에도 분위기가 친근하고 좋았어요
