The hotel Dona Anita was a really pleasant surprise! The rooms are attractive, neat, unusual, and clean. We stayed in one of the attic rooms and absolutely loved it. The bedroom was small and the bathroom interestingly wedged into the dormer, but both were charming and nicely appointed. Despite not speaking much Spanish, we were able to communicate and have a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was included and was a typical breakfast of toast and jam along with coffee con leche. Getting to the hotel in the historic city center is an adventure! Be patient, know that you will get lost or go wrong, and simply enjoy the journey!.

I hope to stay here again. Well managed small hotel in the heart of request in an old town square. Easy parking, very comfortable bedrooms, bar, restaurant and outdoor terrace. Professional and friendly staff.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The place is not far from a car park but worth it. The hotel and the restaurant are great. Very friendly hosts and a delicious dinner with our friend and partner. The room is very clean and old, plus despite that the room is still very good.

Hotel with great character and lovely rooms. We have a duplex so we have to go downstairs to the bathroom and bedroom. It has character and is very comfortable. Overall the hotel is well located in town and the in-house restaurant dinner and breakfast the next day are fantastic. Totally worth the money.

About Doña Anita

The original structure of this typical townhouse has been maintained together with the original paintings on the walls in order to create that special and welcoming atmosphere. With only 14 rooms all of its guests will feel cherished and they will enjoy personal attention from the friendly staff. When it comes to wining and dining they can just visit the onsite restaurant for a delicious authentic meal or the bar for a glass of chilled wine. During the summer days they can escape from the heat in the hot tub or unwind with a soothing massage treatment. The location of the hotel, near the old part of the historical city of Requena, in the so-called Vila Square or Albornoz Square, makes it the perfect place for exploring the Requena Castle and the famous caves. The lovely small streets all around it will make guests feel like they are reliving a medieval tale.
