Incredibly clean room! Enjoyed having truly hot water for my shower. Easy to access and a short walk to the historic downtown. Could clearly hear the loud electronic beeps from people pressing five digit access codes into the key pads to get into the rooms near mine. (Bring some earplugs if that might wake you up.)

The friendly Brazilian owner checked us in and spent a lot of time introducing us to salamanca's downtown section. The hostel is located on the edge of the historic city center in a nice location. Because we were on the side of the road, we were concerned that road noise might wake us up. Even with rain, it was not an issue. The ensure bathrooms are extremely small but adequate. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker did not work, but it was better to go out anyway.

I only had to travel from the bus stop straight downhill and turn left at the end of the road, which took 15 minutes. Also situated on the center of the old town. For 22 euros, I was given a single room without bathroom. The shared restroom was located in the hallway but rather private, so we had to have the key to use the bathroom so I could spend time there. It seemed the same as the room, but the one in the room was just outside. The room was small but not cramped. The window overlooked the front road, the trees in the trees, the church's summit, and the sky. According to the images on the internet, my room was not colorful. It was simply simple, soft, and clean. I prefer to do this. They had a sink in my room, which was unusual for me, but I can't say it was quite convenient. The staff was helpful. When I arrived, I was given the town map, and their map was larger than that of the tourist information center. I spent many hours searching the internet in the lobby, and the staff put a seat for me and gave me sweets saying it was a good experience there.

I recently stayed here for two nights with a group of friends and everyone agreed it was fantastic. Perfect location, 5 minutes from the heart of the old town and the party district, but not close enough that we couldnt sleep when we got back. Showers are a little cramped but clean. If anything else, the rooms are clean and really comfortable. The main plus was the man working the desk. He spoke good English, even though we are all Spanish speakers, and went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome in Salamanca and know where to visit and eat. The only slight downside was that the rooms were roasting hot, however it was too hot in February, so this could just be a fluke. Would definitely recommend this hostel and will return in the future!.
