I will return and will stay here again. With my partner, I stayed here during the gay pride weekend. It was a bargain for just 70 euros for the two nights. The room we stayed in had a little basin and a fan to keep the room cool. The wifi also functioned well. We shared a spotless communal bathroom. The hostel is situated in the center of Madrid, at Puerto del Sol. Despite being in the center, we never experienced any noise issues. I don't get the awful reviews. When the cost is so cheap, one can't expect five stars. We thought it was excellent for the money we paid. The woman even checked us in early. If you are on a tight budget and want to be in a fantastic central location, I would suggest this hostel. If you want to get fancy, spend money elsewhere. Madrid is also a fantastic place to visit.

The rooms are not air-conditioned in Madrid. There was a fan and grid on the window so we could leave it open at night without bugs. The staff was a bit disorganised, not explaining the checkout procedure at check-out but it was very comfortable even though it was very hot. The shower was clean and powerful. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable.

During my short trip to Madrid, I have been to this hostel. The staff was very friendly, and the pricing was very reasonable. The accommodation was clean, and everyday housekeepers cleaned our bed, trash cans, and the whole room. The hostel is located in the heart of Madrid, in front of the metro station. All shops and major tourist attractions are within walking distance.

This is an interesting little location. The location is ideal. The room was adequate. had a fan but was quite warm. We spent a few nights before and after a music festival, and they kept our main bag free of charge while we were gone. A facility I found difficult to find in other cities. The woman running it was friendly and helpful. Noise was minimal. Toilets are shared with no sinks, but there is one large shower to shower which is a good facility. There was wifi. For the room rate. You get what you pay for, and this suited our stay perfectly.
