This is the first time we stayed here in bad grades. There is no problem at all with this place. The cleanliness of this place is very good and the food is delicious. I had a great time during our two night stay at the hostel.

There was only one night here while we were in the area on a horseback riding holiday. We were shown to a clean and comfortable safe room in a tastefully renovated house in the heart of the village. The dinner was excellent and I was provided with vegetarian meals, which can be difficult in Spain. Juan was incredibly helpful and speaks excellent English. Unexpectedly, we stayed another night later in the week and were welcomed back like old friends. We will most definitely return in the future and hopefully use the jeans guiding company. He is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and we are looking forward to seeing and learning more about the wildlife of the area.

Great place and worth the money. The rooms are small but very comfortable with adjustable heating. Nice and comfortable living area with a fire going all day and a great breakfast. The owners were also very welcome and helpful. Highly recommended.

We might have discovered a bit of secret spain. After the cultural outlay of madrid and Santiago, I made the impulsive decision to stay in the Sierra de grades for a few days. A spot to unwind, take it easy, and go on a leisurely stroll around the countryside. After searching online, I discovered this tiny hostel in a peaceful village, and after looking at several other places, I decided to email to find out if they had the dates we were looking for. Juan francisco quickly contacted me and responded that they did. Additionally, he gave me advice on car rentals, allowing us to stay an additional night. Everyone was asleep when we arrived in the middle of the afternoon. But juan appeared to let us in and discussed things regarding the rooms, meals, and other items before he sent us off to the paradox directly up the road, where a pleasant stroll through the woods found us mugged by donkeys! We would then supper with the rest of the family. And thats how the week began. Our poor Spanish almost grasped the family was constantly present to have fun and talk about. They went above and above to make vegetarian meals for my partner, which were just as tasty as my meat or fish ones! But we forgive him for all the wonderful scenery and flora and fauna. My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the village. We had breakfast and dinner at the hostel each day and the local food was delicious and plentiful. Our host, Juan Francisco, is a local guide and very knowledgeable so we were able to get a lot of accurate information about the best places to hike and visit in the Sierra de Grades. He also speaks excellent English.
