Great location, comfortable rooms, delicious Spanish cuisine with a Spanish touch, and a very professional management team, make this hotel a great place to explore the surrounding areas. Sierra de la nevada, the archaeological museum in the grave, the observatory at Valar Alto, fantastic roads for motorcycles, bicycles, hiking, and many more.

Just a brief stay, but we were impressed by the chicly restrained architecture of this minimalist white building, which was up against the northern edge of the snowcapped Sierra Nevada. We were greeted warmly by the Spanish husband and wife proprietors and their competent team, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderfully lively small restaurant with it's imaginative, well-prepared menu, which has already become a major draw for the neighborhood. Although the approach is not particularly appealing, it is a few hundred meters on a surfaced but level, straight track, but the wider area has many things to offer, including the castle in the nearby La Calahorra. Guadix, with its impressive cathedral and intriguing caves barrio, is about a 25-minute drive away.
