We stayed here for a single night on a short trip to the region and the tables de damsel. The location is a bit out, so having the coordinates in our navigation helps. After getting close, there are large well lit signs hotel rural indicating the gate to the driveway. 1015 to damsel and then on to the tables. If you are up for hiking, we were told that you can also walk to the park. As others have written, the cortisol is very well maintained, with many installations, and our room was comfortable and spacious in a simple, straightforward way. It was in the modern area, where the building was actually enlarged a few years ago, not that you would notice on first glance. The only morning noise came from the numerous, many birds, and I slept up quite late on the comfortable bed. Breakfast is basic and served generously, in Spanish. They made an extra effort to accommodate some food restrictions, calling me the day of our arrival to ask about the information I had left on the registration form. We also happily got a second slice of toast. In general, the couple who run the place were extremely friendly and helpful, although it might be harder to converse with them if you dont speak Spanish. On a 100 ha active farm, my wife and I stayed here for two nights, with the bedrooms forming an upper level around an open internal courtyard. There was little chance of even getting half a chair on each side because the balcony in the bedroom that was promoted was split into two, leaving only a juliette view. Nevertheless, having a couple of French windows allowed cool air to enter the bedroom was helpful. Despite the fact that I can communicate in Spanish, the personnel were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Some of the instructions, like how to use the electronic gate at the end of the driveway, would be very difficult to understand without it. Breakfast was simple and in the traditional Spanish style, but it was prepared in a separate packet. For me, the key trait of a good establishment is whether a second cup of coffee is provided at breakfast time and that our request for the largest cup is satisfactorily met! The absence of a restaurant for dinner was a major issue for us. We were forced to enter Damsel at 10 am to eat, which we are seldom pleased with after a long and active day, especially given the Spanish tendency to start serving at rp or elsewhere. Damsel is not especially blessed with decent restaurants. Naturalists who visit the tables de damsel use the cortisol to build a solid foundation.
