We usually book at a very good hotel just a few minutes from Plaza Alicia in Doctor Teixeiro. It's also your reception, where you need to check in for the apartments, which are around 500 m further away at the top of meter Mateo. We had some issues during our stay with the wifi not working at all, and it took them four days and conversations with four different people from their reception to fix them. Another minor issue, but persistence paid out. As to the location it faces the university campus and can be noisy on the weekends if you want to sleep with open windows, but otherwise very well equipped we booked a two-bedroom apartment with two separate bathrooms and all very clean. If you rent a car upon arriving in Santo, do not worry about parking at the neighboring public parking at Plaza de Vino, you can book a flat for two weeks for eur 47 no matter how many times you enter and exit the parking. A very good deal, considering that at Plaza alicia you pay eur 13, 50 per hour for parking. I am from Santo and visit at least twice a year. I've done airing at some beautiful places around the cathedral but enjoyed this place.

I will come back. The apartments have lovely care and look just like new. The space in the bathroom was big and had a lovely shower. Close to several small supermarkets and Hipercor. The location is close to the attractive university campus, about a 10 minute walk from the old town. Close to the laundry. The bed is very comfy. it's peaceful. The wifi is quick and reliable. There is a three-ring hob and a microwave in the kitchen, but there isn't a toaster or kettle. Wifi speeds up well and is very reliable.
