When touring the region, my friend and I came across this hotel, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The hotel provides excellent information on regional hikes and good recommendations for nearby restaurants. The setting is stunning and peaceful, the room was bright and airy, and the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The selfservice honesty bar in the common area offers a pretty impressive selection of drinks, and the morning breakfast was fresh and satisfying.

Beautiful construction in a peaceful, marginalized neighborhood. The accommodations are good, but the bathrooms have been placed inside the rooms with only glass walls and no locks, which is not transparent, yet is not at all private. Being a pair, it wasnt a big deal for us, but if I were there with a friend, I wouldnt have preferred it at all. It was a good deal because we got it for 60 euros almost an acre, but the regular price is well below value. The owners are friendly, but they ought to bring it down to the ground floor. They were eager to provide information, which is wonderful, but sometimes they risk taking too much opinion, like, I as a guest do not mind if the owner likes or dislikes old monasteries or ruins, please give me directions and recommendations, but avoid telling me why you visited there.

I only stayed here for one night but wish I could have stayed another day. Beautiful location, a very friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and overall good value for money. Will definitely return for a longer stay

Very recommended. In ochagavia, a young basque couple in a hamlet of 15 people up the road from ochagavia well run. It was useful to have some basic Spanish knowledge, but not much English, but everything was planned out. We decided to pay 20 euros more for a room with a terrace and were glad we did. Very pleasant place to have drinks, available in the lounge of the honor system, and also good selection. Excellent breakfast and wifi in the room. Credit cards are accepted. We had a tasty meal in ochagavia, and in addition to hard cider, there are a good selection of local wines. Up a rather steep hilltop up behind the church, a 1 pm trail will take you up to an 18th century church. Not for weak knees or hearts, but you'll get a great view of the valley once you get there.

This hotel has been well equipped and transformed into a pleasant place to stay with high-quality furniture and furnishings and a high level of cleanliness. It is in a quiet position overlooking a lovely valley and only a short drive from ochagavia where there are many bars and restaurants. The breakfasts are excellent, with a wide variety. There is a very pleasant residents lounge with local information. Parking can be an interesting challenge, but can be overcome fairly easily after directions are provided! A little Spanish is useful. It may be worth mentioning that there is no elevator. We recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in the Salazar Valley.
