Fantastisk udsigt. Meget venligt personale. Skøn morgenmad. Gør dig selv den tjeneste at få redsnapper med soya, chili og hvidløg - det smagte fantastisk. De arrangerede også at vi kom på tur til stranden og så skildpadderne lægge æg om aftenen super oplevelse. Dejlig strand helt uspoleret.

The manager and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is amazing with a nice restaurant the food was very good. We went to see the turtle in the evening in the nearby beach thank to the hint from the manager. We also had an wonderful afternoon boat trip around the lagoon Breakfast was superb Very very happy Thank you!!

The most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. The pool is great, but the beach is just to die for. Miles of empty beach in both directions from the hotel. We did however notice quite a few plots being developed nearby, so this might not continue. Staff were all great and helpful. The food was amazing. Devilled tuna and fresh Mahi Mahi were a favourites! One evening we went to a nearby beach and watched turtles lay their eggs and return to the sea. It was like being in a nature programme.

This literally is paradise. Located in a very isolated area, but your surroundings is absolute bliss. You have the most beautiful beach area in front while you have the tropical wilderness behind you. This hotel is very neat and tidy. Service and food is fantastic. Not a lot to do at hotel itself other than enjoy the tranquility and amazing surroundings. They do over trips to go see wildlife and other activities, but you dont even have to leave the hotel to go see sea turtles as the had right on their beach. Ananya is just amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to break away and rest while enjoying nature.

A hidden paradise hidden at the end of a bumpy dirt road! Even more beautiful than the pictures show! Spacious and modern rooms that were kept meticulously clean during our two-night stay, kind and service-oriented personnel, very good food on an extensive menu with very reasonable prices! The breakfast was the best Sri Lankan breakfast we had on our 14-day journey with generous servings that were cooked to perfection! We also tried the Spa that was located 15 minutes by tuk-tuk from Ananya Beach at another hotel and the massage and the scrub were very well executed and good value for money! The pool is super clean and lovely to swim in as a substitute for the ocean, which had a bit too high waves for us even though we did get in once. The only thing we would recommend for improvement is to add a few sun parasols on the beach so that all guests/rooms can enjoy the shade. We warmly recommend this hotel and we hope to come back next year!

A gorgeous, restful vacation. Furthermore, the employees are what truly makes it possible. They provide exceptional service. The staff is always friendly and proficient, providing excellent service at breakfast, supper, and drinks by the pool. This place was very private and clean. With only 12 rooms, the building never looked busy even when it was fully booked on some days. Six oceanfront rooms are the nicest, yet the others enjoy side sea views and views of open woodland. A stunning, large pool that is close to the beach and lots of sun loungers is just a few meters away. A large size, a super king bed, sofa seating, desk, fridge, to, excellent air conditioning, and wifi, and a balcony with a view of the pool and beach, our room was a spacious one. The food is as excellent as the hotel. Fruit, toast, choice of banana pancake, omelet, juice tea or coffee, or Sri Lanka with hoppers and rotis for breakfast. The dinner options range from Italian and western dishes to Thai and other western dishes, with prices from only 100 for a fish curry or pasta dish to 2200 for a whole fish with salad, rice, and sauce. Beers are 450 for a large lion, and there is a good selection of wines from 3500 per bottle. With our fish platter, a bottle of white South African chemin

This hotel is amazing, this place is really magical, friendly staff and delicious food. I came here after a backpacking trip and it was the best place to relax, calm down and inhale some vitamin sea food.

Banana Beach Resort has a stunning backdrop. Words cannot express the sense of calm we felt during our three night stay. Our room was spotless, very large and had a wonderful view of the pool and sea from the balcony and window. The bathroom had hot water all day. The hotel also had a generator for power outages so the ac still worked. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had all our meals breakfast, snacks and dinners at the hotel and the food was delicious, although a few more vegetarian options would have been nice. We tried several cocktails by the pool and all were made well. Infinity pool was beautiful and the beach was idyllic. If we return to sri lanka, we will definitely return to Banana Beach Resort.
