I've just been here with a few friends. This place is near the border of Gala National Park. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. The tent was huge and roomy.

We spent three nights at the ahora gala, and we are impressed with the crew. Petri, whom we made directly with the eco team, we made a reservation, and the office team was extremely attentive to emails, organized our transportation, and was quite helpful. The camp, which is right next to the park's buffer zone, is delightful. The tents are outstanding in terms of amenities, particularly if you take into account that these are not permanent structures! They have lovely details, such as freshly lit candles every evening, and are both practical and pleasant. The camp staff is incredibly cordial and helpful. The meal was fantastic. The safaris, which are the highlight of the show, were both halfday and fullday trips. A naturalist and driver are included on the safaris, which greatly enhances the experience. In addition, their enthusiasm for the park and their desire to share it with others was evident. Avian handled us admirably. He was great at observing animals, explained to us extensively, and took the time to get to know us. We had a few lovely leopard sightings, but we were also keen on all the other animals and birds. We were never in an effort to get to know each other, so we were never in a rush and could request to stop and observe whenever we wanted. When we went to the ahora gala, I will never forget. It was unimaginably wonderful from beginning to end, with so many luxury elements in addition to being out of our comfort zones, which made it truly exceptional. Thank you so much to our host Pasa for making it even more special. The tent provided a great accommodation! Two comfortable double beds, lovely decor, lovely candles, and soft lighting, excellent protection against mozzie and biting insects, and powerful fans to keep you cool at night. The surround woods were pure pleasure. The food is all included, and they are certainly plentiful! We ordered six courses of delectable meals prepared over the bbd for dinner. Fire flies and even the odd shooting stars were present as we sat in front of a bonfire under the stars. The chefs were fantastic, and the catering host was incredibly friendly and epitomized the welcoming Sri lanka image. My god, a safari. The likelihood to see a leopard was nearly too great for a wildlife photographer. Before any other jeep arrived on the scene, we ended up having the best eagles and family of elephants up close and personal. It was incredible, but not a leopard because we cannot control mother nature, and we had such wonderful sightings of such a varied array of fauna. They also provide night walks after dinner

This is the best experience ever. My vacation experience was in nature. Everything was perfect. Great service from the staff, the food, the setup, the cleanliness of the room, the comfort and the comfort of the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had the good fortune to see two leopards during our safari and on our night walking we saw a beautiful Tarantula.

a lovely camp in a beautiful environment. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The accommodation is very good and more than I expected in the wilderness. Dinner by the campfire is beautiful! And the safari was beautiful, we were lucky enough to see leopard jeary and the guide patiently and carefully explained everything.

Mahoora Tented Luxury Safari Camp - Yala provides tented accommodation in a wilderness setting at the border of Yala National Park, the 2nd largest national park in Sri Lanka. Barbecued dishes are served by the nightly campfires. Fitted with carpeted flooring, all tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers.
