We stayed at Sounds of Nature for 5 nights and it was the best accommodation we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The hotel is only about 6 months old . Dima our Host was wonderful - cooked our breakfast, was very helpful, nothing was a problem for him, such a lovely person! Every morning around 5.30am the monkeys came to feed on the trees right outside our room. There were also squirrels, birds, tiny lizards - it truly was the "Sounds of Nature" . My husband and daughter also saw a Mongoose on their adventure walk, close to Sounds of Nature. It was walking distance to beach and places to eat or a quick bus ride. There were good cafes on the beach with fresh seafood, music and Happy Hour every evening. We hope to return one day.

Excellent wifi. Very lovely. It's quiet, close to Coconut Hill and wonderful beaches. The rooms are nice and clean. The owners are very kind. They also provide breakfast.

It was amazing how quiet and peaceful it was when you heard nature as you do feel and were surrounded by nature, given how near you are to the main road. A short walk down the lane takes you to a rocky beach where we watched turtles and local fishermen. Its a short walk to the coconut hill lookout and a tuktu ride to Mariassa Beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. If we requested taxis and tutus, the owners would have planned other tours. I highly suggest sounds of nature as an oasis in Marissa.

The internet connection here was nice and fast. This place is close to Coconut Hill and the beach. The owner has good friendliness. And then, the cleanliness of the room was very nice. After that, the food here was excellent. Then the ambience was peaceful. Subsequently, the room itself was lovely.

The employees here were so polite, especially for the owner of this place, the owner gave us the free complete baguette. And then, there is the good wifi in this place. After that, the cleanliness here was good, even the condition of the room was also very nice. Subsequently, they serve good food.

This is the first time I visited this hotel. The hotel was very helpful with all the features, including the beautiful place, the good wifi and the good cleanliness. The ambiance was very peaceful and very close to the beach and coconut hill. I even ordered french fries and the owner gave me a full curry baguette for free. The room was also very clean. The food was also delicious.

Its truly a paradise in Marissa to be at the sounds of nature. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very tasty. The owners called tutus and taxis for us, and I am sure they would arrange other tours if we requested them. We highly recommend sounds of nature as a nature sanctuary in Marissa. Given how close you are to the main road, it was remarkable how peaceful and quiet it was at the sounds of nature as you do feel, and are surrounded by nature. A few minutes walk further down the lane takes you to a rocky beach where we saw turtles and local fishermen. Its a short walk to Coconut Hill lookout and a short one or short tutu ride to Marassa beach, shops, and restaurants.
