Very nice and beautiful place. Very far from the center, but a great surprise. The view was unreal and so was the room. In the middle of the jungle, a big, nice and comfortable room in a very nice house. I would stay there again

Great house with a few rooms. Service was perfect and the cook served very good meals. There is a nice pool and the breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view was great. Very cozy rooms, the house is alone, so very quiet.

I really enjoyed my stay here and strongly recommend it. Cosy, quaint and incredible are the words that best describe this location. A friend came up to ella for the night and thought we would come check out the hideaway ella. We went up the road and knew nothing about this location because it is actually hidden away on the mountain. As we walked into our room, we were greeted with an incredible view over 9 arches bridge and the magical mountains below.

We had a large room on the top floor with 3 large door windows overlooking the valley. The staff were just great and always willing to help. I asked our waiter chandra at dinner what time breakfast would be the next day and he replied What time would you like it to be sir which is one example of their outstanding flexibility. Read some other reviews and I think it's important to keep in mind that this is not a five star hotel and doesn't pretend to be. It is clean, full of character and provides excellent service which is more important than all the bells and whistles of a larger hotel.

This hotel is in a beautiful place. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's a little tired but that's part of the charm. The cuisine was wonderful. I would recommend getting up to see the sunrise over the mountains.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay for at least two or three days. It is one of the best places inella, breathtaking view. It is an amazing place to be if you are visiting abroad or Sri Lanka. The hospitality is outstanding and very friendly, special my. Donald and a charming smiling Tanuki who take us like family, and especially the food prepared by Tanuki is very delicious and of high quality. The room is very clean with a good view.

Koselig b&b, som tittelen tilsier ganske godt gjemt. Et stykke fra Ella, men transport fra hotellet gjorde til at det ikke ble et problem. Utrolig kjekt kokkekurs der vi lagde 5 typer curry, som vi senere fikk servert som middag. Helt topp! Fikk og sightseeing til Nine Arch Bridge og Little Adams Peek.

This was a great 3 start hotel but was hard to find as there were no road signs and only two signs for the hotel. The road can get a little rough at times but it looks like they will eventually pave it. Once at the hotel the staff is very attentive, and the view in daylight is breathtaking. I only got a short night there which I wish I would have taken advantage of the cooking class. No mosquitoes really because of the higher elevation.
