We recommend this place. It was the best experience I ever had in Sri Lanka. Whisky Point is a surfers beach with a nice vibe. Excellent price and there are 3 more restaurants around. The staff is really friendly and has a menu. The room and small garden are very comfortable.

We actually stayed like next door but rented our boards and had drinks and food there. There are a variety of surfboards available for a decent price, directly in front of the surf spot and a small bar at the beach where you can grab a delicious king coconut after a surf session. The tasty tuna restaurant is a two minute walk away from the beach. Our favourite dish was homemade veggie rice I curry freshly cooked.
