Because I made an error and submitted a review for the wrong hotel with a similar name, I am rewriting this review for a stay in February 2020, prior to the pandemic. The staff was pleasant, the situation is great, and the rooms looked updated. You do not carry a keycard with you because the front desk manages the keys. It must be left at the counter by the employee, who handles it. I also had a daily breakfast, which was the same, but because of my allergies and discerning tastes, I didn't really get the full benefit. I'm confident that others could. Also weird was being served in a room. Instead of being served, I prefer to eat my own food, though this may have changed after the pandemic. The location is great, as it is close to the necropolis, syntagma, the plaza, and numerous restaurants are all within 20 minutes. I was given a queen-sized room, and the bed was big and comfortable. There are many amenities, and a nice bathroom. Due to the cost and location, I would without a doubt consider returning here. The region is older and may be frightening to some, but it is also the reality of Athens, and its people make it great.

We will definitely return to Belfl next year. We are a couple of Athenians, currently living abroad, and coming back to our home city for Christmas. We stayed at Befell for 10 nights and had the best holiday ever at a very friendly price of 50 per night including breakfast. The room was basic but comfortable, with a double bed as requested, new mattress and pillows, additional heating by air conditioning which we seldom use and a small fridge. Breakfast was original greek with great yoghurt, tulour sesame bread hoops with cheese and olives, fresh oranges, and strong coffee. The staff was very friendly and reception was available 24 hours a day. This is the best place to stay in the city. Around the corner, a traditional coffee shop with glyphs and all archaeological sites are within walking distance.

This small 2-star hotel is near all the attractions, restaurants, and pubs in the heart of Athens. There are no 5-star facilities, expect better coming here, and you will be treated with genuine hospitality. You will receive a bottle of Ouzo, which was quite pleasant, and you are more than enough for your day's breakfast. We were made to feel at ease by a man at the front desk. It was a fantastic price per night. We were given a bottle of ouzo, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was immaculate and peaceful. At the weekends and evenings, the front desk employees were courteous and welcoming. The restroom is basic but adequate. This is, in our opinion, the best location to stay in Athens if you desire comfort and friendliness.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days with breakfast included. We moved from one room because you could hear outside noise to another room which was a much better. The hotel and cleaning staff are really nice and will do everything to help. Breakfast is the same every day and is large. The hotel is pristine and well located. The hotel is extremely well priced for location and has heating and fridge in the room. I will return to stay here again.
