This hotel appears to have once been a nice hotel, however, at least some of the rooms need serious renovation and improvement, and the entire business could use a little more professionalism. From my recent encounter and the excellent reviews Ive read, Id guess that it suffered from the pandemic. On the positive side, the boat is lovely, the location is good, the welcome is friendly, and the breakfast is superb. On the negative side, the rooms were tired, disorganized, not properly cleaned, and the staff was a touch unsettling. I would expect oldclass rooms on an old ship. But there was no closet for clothes, just a few hangers dangling from loosely fitted hooks on the wall. The furniture was dated and the entire space required repair. The toilet had only a tiny hand towel, and the trash had been emptied. To put it mildly, the service was also uneven. Until we were told the top deck was out of bounds and we must remain inside, it was really quite friendly. There was no prepayment requested, and the next morning it took the following morning. We had to phone a number on the desk to get someone to show up and take our money, and the checkout process took 20 minutes.

I spent two nights here. It's not as if the room is adequate but in need of some updating. Could not access the main deck because it was so closed. The front desk personnel was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot and cold buffet options. I loved my stay in a different place, I think they should have done a bit more to upgrade the rooms. it would be wonderful.

What was a wonderful hotel in 2015 is not it right now. It was supposed to have two restaurants, but there is only one and it is only open for breakfast and then closed for the rest of the day. The bar hasn't been used in over a year. There was no access to the deck, so you couldn't sit outside. Bed linens and towels were only changed every 3 days as the room was made up. The shower was nice and had plenty of hot water. On the ship, the wifi was strong all around. Reception was only open ad hoc times, normally in the morning for check-out. The rest of the day, no one was present, making it difficult for people to check in. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot and cold food. My to didn't work as it was without a signal, and despite several requests, nothing was done. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the reception area, unlike the photographs on your website. In fact, many of the pictures are outdated and misleading. What should have been an enjoyable stay turned out to be quite bad. Definitely not advised.
