I heartily endorse it. Excellent hotel with a fantastic view, delicious food, and service. Birgit takes excellent care of you, along with her dog, amiable. The service is excellent, the cuisine is outstanding, as is the view from your room and terrace.

In the month of july 2023, i spent one night here. The restaurant and rooms both offer breathtaking views. Since the road there is narrow, steep, and shared with cyclists and pedestrians, getting there by gondola would be most convenient. If you must drive, be aware that as of the end of this year, application maps had provided incorrect directions. From the center of grilwald, turn left from obere gletschstrasse onto regentmattenstraße (near the muhlebach Schule bus stop) - turn right on rinderstutzweg stayed on this main route all the way to the hotel always pay attention and follow road signs. There are several locations in grindelwald with clear signage warning you not to follow your GPs down the wrong path.

We stayed here in early June and our visit was exceptional. We arrived late by car and the staff waited for us to serve us dinner. The views are breathtaking and, while a bit far from town, the location was ideal for hiking in the summer. Amazing experience we wont soon forget!.

Wah, kalau pakai mobil agak sulit. Lebih baik pakai 4 x 4, baru aman atau yang punya tenaga besar baru nyaman. Karena jalan curam dan hanya bisa dilalui satu mobil, tapi pemandangannya terbayar. Lokasi strategis dekat gondola, asyik banget main sepeda, paragliding.

The hotel has a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. It is only ten minutes walk from the cable car station grindelwald bort, one station before grindels first. We stay in san francisco room, which is cozy enough for two adults and two children. The breakfast was still delicious and warm.

I adore their cuisine. They create such a delicious, fresh, and wellpresented meal. Their cuisine is not overly salty, but it tastes great (not like typical mountain restaurants. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. Two stars for this place.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The positive sides are the breathtaking views, the clean facilities, and the modern parking right by the hotel. However, there are some downsides to this place. First, even though its comparatively expensive, we wont let that happen because it is in europe. Second, while we were inside, i didnt see any reason why he attempted to enter our room without asking. Third, an employee asked for bottled water, but we specifically requested tap water. After that, when the waiter brought us lcf, they charged us 7 chf. Perhaps thats standard in south schweiz, however, before charging for tapwater, you should at least be aware. Fourth, after asking for plastic garbage sack at reception, she promised to deliver it to our accommodation in 10 minutes, unfortunately, no. We had to return and request it again. Despite these issues, our time at the motel was enjoyable, as the same team is still operating from 10 am to 6 pm, both before and after that.

We were able to take in the breathtaking view the property had to offer us during our visit to the restaurant at boret. It was a lovely experience, especially considering the stylish wooden furniture and cozy atmosphere. However, even though i am not used to giving this kind of negative feedback in my reviews, ive got to share some areas for improvement in terms of the restaurants service. A waiter gave us pause because he smelled really bad. After being served the food, my wife noticed him picking his nose and scratching himself. My wife chose not to finish eating the meal after this had happened several times. Apart from this minor inconvenience, the eatery is undoubtedly suited for enjoying supper in mountainous surroundings.

We were a large group that stayed here for ten days in the winter and had savored it. The rooms are clean, warm and tastefully decorated. Staff members are very friendly and competent. Food was delicious, especially the spatzle, fondue, and kaiserschmarn! Birgit was really friendly, helpful, accommodating. And to top it off, the view is spectacular! We will definitely be back.

This place is ideal for lunch in the alpine style. The location is on the bottom of a run, with shady terraces, beautiful views, and easy lift access up and down. There is delicious food available, including fondue, large salads that are varied in size, meat options, etc., as well as reasonably priced carafes of wine.

Visiting the eu in 2023 was my best decision. We made the best choice ever to spend a few days here for Christmas. Unfortunately, it is impossible to get there by car. The only means of getting there are cable cars. It was difficult for us to obtain tickets online and at the kiosk. Just to be clear, there is s tainan inside, so simply pay and get your ticket inside. I remember the cable car fee being 68 euros roundtrip, but we were able to use the 65 euros unlimited for the entire day. Before reaching the final stop, the hotel is located on the third stop. To save room, we only brought one suitcase. There are beers, wines, and i like eateries and an excellent restaurant with the greatest view on top. Although the bathroom is somewhat uncomfortable, ive had trouble sleeping after eating downstairs because ill have bad stomachs, which forced me to let go of myself. Everyone can hear what mr. Farts included lol. This is embarrassing but enjoyable times! Maybe ask friends the next time to leave the room. Excellent service here! I forgot her name, yet she is the most amazing woman dragged me down here, though, as if thats how they speak. After the ski, its quite convenient to unwind in the alpine mountains from the bathrooms and bedroom. Without denying that we paid about 300 euros

The view is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly. Clean and spacious rooms. Cons the last gondola to go to the hotel leaves at 4.15. If you plan to take skiing classes or have dinner outside, you must do so before 4.45 pm, so your time is more limited.

I had a great time at this hotel! The surroundings are breathtaking! Staff is very helpful and friendly. I couldnt stay for breakfast so they made me supper which i took with me to jungfraujoch. The room was very quiet and tidy. Dinner in their restaurant was so delicious, ive only wanted to give it more than 5 stars and he can!T. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! Be careful when traveling with your car. There are many bikers on the road.

I spent two nights here and also dined at the restaurant twice. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. It was difficult to get to the hotel because it was one of the only ones in grindelwald that could accommodate five people, and my mother didnt do any research beforehand and for some reason, application maps will refuse to take you there. There is only room for one car on the windy, steep 3 km road up the mountain. Youll encounter other cars and dozens of people riding scooters going the opposite way, having to back down or pull over frequently. The hotel has crowbars, which is incredibly convenient, but it is also pricey due to operating hours not being ideal with the last car at 6.30 p. M. This is not necessarily the hotels fault, as we encountered this virtually anywhere we went in northern Grindelholz. Flies are everywhere. Nobody has window screens. Eating dinner in the eatery will be battling between your designated room and the designated bathroom. Again, it wasnt the motel to blame because they are so expensive, however, Switzerland is known for its high cost. More just if you are traveling to this area, keep in mind. We could hear the couple next to us until they fell asleep, even though the walls were thin. When we walked to our lower portion of our room, the low ceilings caused us to repeatedly smash our head on

The Berghaus Bort is at the first intermediate station of the gondola cableway. Guests must arrive before 4.30 pm as this is the latest operating time of the cableway. In the summer the Bort is also accessible for good drivers by car up a narrow Alpine road. The road also serves as a popular footpath as well as a Trotti-bike route. We therefore recommend guests only use it before midday and after 5.00 pm. If guests arrive by car we need your license plate number of the car as well as the name of the driver.
