We would definitely try to stay there again if we went to Interlaced again. This hotel is a lovely older hotel with very friendly staff and good food. We got breakfast which was included and had a great start to the day. The price was really reasonable. Great location, close to the train station. It has a great view of the mountains. The room is a bit small and parking is a little limited.

When you stay with your dog, this is a good place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The personal service was also very pleasant. Breakfast was good and we were very happy to stay at this hotel.

Since our first visit to wegen after spending many years lodging at various hotels, we recently returned from a 10-day stay at the barren hotel. We found the entire staff to be quite cordial and accommodating, especially with my wifes specific dietary requirements. While our package included packed lunches, the meal portions are extremely generous and delicious. Our best vacation experiences in Switzerland were the ones we had ever had while in Switzerland. In addition, as we both have now limited mobility issues, a local complimentary bus service that brought visitors to Wilderswil and interlaced west rail stations was incredibly helpful. Despite these issues, we expect to return to Switzerland in the future and will not hesitate to stay at the barren hotel again.

I believe this hotel is underrated. While the bathroom and shower may be a little small, we were given a room with a shower with a curtain and a toilet. There are rooms, in my experience, that barely have any separation between them. The bar area was fun and had an awesome vibe in the evening. I understand that this isn't the place for you if you're looking for some indulgence and a spa, but it is a fantastic choice in a fantastic location. Breakfast was quite delicious and ample.
