I would definitely stay here again. The views are really stunning from even-numbered rooms. The restaurant is quite good, including breakfast. The hotel is right next to the railway station. Small room, but it is one, so it's a good size. I have a balcony overlooking the train station, but it's pretty quiet after 930. The view is lovely anyway as the mountains surround the city. There is a fridge, a safe, and good wifi. The bathroom has a shower in a good arrangement. The top floor has a lounge with a mountain view. The restaurant is excellent and includes breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

This hotel is great value for money, with a direct railway crossing as the front entrance and bus station opposite the road. It was a great experience to stay here from start to finish. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly from the minute we arrived. We hope to return!

I will definitely stay here again. My balcony overlooks the train station, but it's still pretty quiet after 90. The view is nice anyway, as the mountains surround the town. There is a fridge, safe, and good wifi. Bathroom has a lovely arrangement with a shower. On the top floor, there is a lounge overlooking the mountains. The restaurant is good and does include breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful!

We will return. The hotel is located right next to the train station. It was perfect for a one-night stay to visit grindelwald and jungfaujoch, the top of Europe, before returning to Zurich. The hotel is old and charming, which I appreciate, but the room could use some updating without taking away from the character. It appears that the restroom was upgraded at one point, but the room was showing signs of wear and tear. I will say it was spotless, but we noticed it everywhere in Switzerland. We had a cute little balcony overlooking the railway station. The staff was very friendly and friendly. The restaurant is also very good, so no need to waste time looking for a place to eat dinner.

Excellent location. We had a junior suite. The room looks outdated but clean and quite spacious. It comes with 2 separate balconies. Mount eager's view is right in front of you. No air conditioning. The king bed is very comfortable but the pillows need to be thicker. All are very flat. Half board breakfast and dinner were okay. Maybe next time pass on this. Parking is available and free. Small refrigerator, coffee maker, many hangers, safe deposit. No noise problem at all despite the hotel being right by the railway station.

I got a junior suite in this location. We are happy with the price we paid, this place has a good location. The room has a contemporary design, but it is tidy and very spacious. Two balconies are provided. In the right hand side of the room is the view of Mount eager. There is no air conditioning. The king bed is quite comfy, but the pillows need to be more thick. They are all very flat. But the half board breakfast and dinner was okay. There is free parking available in this place. No noisy issues even though the hotel is right near the train station.

We have stayed here before but not for three years, so it was good to be back. As other people have said, the location is ideal for trains users. We had a good-sized room on the station side of the hotel, which we liked because we could watch all the comings and goings from our balcony, but we didn't find it noisy.

In September, I spent a lovely 10 nights at the Derby. This was our second visit. The standard room we were given was unimpressively small and a bit shabby, despite being quite comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast and supper were both of a good standard, albeit there were problems restocking the salad bar on several evenings. The restaurant was constantly busy in the evening, with a nice atmosphere and numerous non-residents coming in to dine. The setting is unbeatable. Excellent personnel, and seeing so many faces we remembered from 3 years ago made us smile. Hoping to visit again in the near future.

I visited the derby in September. This was our second visit to the derby. We have also visited this location in 2019. The location is close to the train station is a major plus for this hotel. The atmosphere was friendly and all the personnel was friendly. We had a comfortable double room with a lovely view. It was small at 226, but the weather only allowed us to use it for a few days. A wide variety of foods were served at the breakfast that was excellent. Lauterbrun, violence, and interlaced also serve as our base of travel. Also the Schilthorn at the top of Europe, first.

This hotel is excellent, conveniently located for trains and elevators. The room is immaculate and comfortable, and the room is also compact. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious. Our European electrical adapters were of the wrong size, but the hotel provided the proper ones.

The construction work will take place exclusively on the other side of the street opposite the south side of the hotel. Our hotel itself will not be affected.
Parking possibilities at the property are limited and are varied by size of the vehicle and therefore cannot be reserved in advance. In order to receive a parking space, guests are kindly requested to deposit the car keys at the reception desk on arrival. The hotel porters will be pleased to take care of placing all vehicles.
The indoor swimming pool in the sports center is no longer free of charge, but guests with the guest card receive a 50% discount on admission. On the other hand, all other facilities in the sports center such as the sauna area, ice rink, bouldering room, and climbing park are also available with a 50% discount

The 3*** star superior Derby Hotel in Grindelwald is situated in a central location directly at the train station.
