The bad thing is the towels were not changed and the pillows were not comfy, no coffee machine was available, not even extra glasses. The lady at reception was very kind and helpful. Despite the positive things they provided such as a beautiful view

We had a group of 13 and needed to find a place to eat. We were late and did not have reservations. We all ordered schnitzel and sat outside at beautifully ordered tables and under trees. It had been hot all day and our wonderful server kept bringing pitchers of cold water while we waited. We all enjoyed the schnitzel and the wonderful server and service. Very friendly and delicious food!.

The proprietor of this place is incredibly pleasant and offers excellent local information on arrival. We were pleasantly informed that visitors who remain at a nearby hotel can obtain a free bus ticket during their stay. The accommodations were simple. There were several guidelines, including the prohibition against washing, cooking, or preparing takeaway lunches at the breakfast bar, and the sheets were not changed every day. The hotel's takeaway breakfast in the early mornings was fantastic, even without having coffee available. Our room was on the first level, and our patio was shared with two other rooms. The second day, the housekeeper opened the window without noticing that it could be partially opened. This motel does not have fans or air conditioning. The restrooms featured a shower curtain that separated the shower and toilet from the 1960 s.

I stayed here for a week on June 19. I must say from the very beginning that the owner and staff are amazing, extremely polite and helpful. All floors are accessible by a lift. I stayed on a half board basis, the breakfast is typical continental style, perfectly adequate, great coffee, and a good start to the day. I was curious about the colored hardboiled eggs. Dinner served every night at the bar on Sunday was excellent and could be described as the sort of food that Swiss families would envision eating. I saw some other people eating there and those ordering from the menu seemed to enjoy their food. Locals frequent the bar area. The room I had on the third floor was completely comfortable and perfect and had a balcony with decent views. The shower was on the same floor and was perfectly fine. The hotel's outdoor garden is excellent and has fantastic views of the Jungfrau and other mountain ranges. The beer is also excellent. There are only two downsides: 1) The wifi is unreliable. I had noisy people below me two nights into my stay, I did mention this to the owner who luckily resolved it right away and then again on my final night from the beer garden 2 the soundproofing is not good between floors. As a matterof, there might be considerable noise from the neighboring hotel, but don't be put off by these irritations. I just have a very low tolerance tolerance
