It has been a wonderful stay, with many details for my husbands birthday. The attention of the staff, as well as the breakfast, the wellness area, is what makes it stand out. I would rate it 6 stars for its attention.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of the family rooms that had more than enough space for 3 people, with a loftstyle structure. The free breakfast is good and the reception is helpful. Its ok to walk to the town center but you pass by the lake and Matterhorn on the way so its beautiful! Clean and comfy, would return.

This place is located in the heart of the city. The hotel has a charming and cozy atmosphere. Its also quaint and inviting. There is tastier aspect, the balcony was also an excellent addition. We had everything we needed in this spacious room. Valerie explained that it was because the plumbing hadnt been operated for ten days, which made the room smell pleasantly odd at first. You have incredibly beautiful views of mountains. One drawback was that you could hear the river gornergrat train. I didnt mind as much as the train horn by my house. They were gracious enough to provide us with an additional heater for the cold mountain, winter nights, and the door to the terrace allowed for air circulation. At the front desk, valee was friendly and accommodating. She was genuinely enjoyable. After day two, our breakfast got monotonous, especially with the staffs rudeness. In the winter of 2024, 11 of us stayed at capricorn. We would start the day with a delicious breakfast that included both warm and cold dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With many amenities (elevator, boot heater, ski storage, snack, and bar area, the hotel was comfortable. After we had finished skiing, there was sweltering wellness center with hot tubs, infrared rooms, saunas and steam rooms. Our time at casprican was wonderful. Many thanks to the family who owns the motel.

The room has a view of the Matterhorn, and the staff is very friendly. The sink and bath are clogged, the breakfast is delicious, there is incline to bring luggage up. Overall, it was incredibly enjoyable.

This is the ideal basecamp for anyone searching for a solid base camp in zermatt. The rooms are contemporary. There are balconies with fantastic views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast is excellent. Excellent spa facilities include sanitizer, steam room, jacuzzi, and relaxation area. Although conveniently located fewer steps away from the town center, it is still easily accessible from train station. It takes 10 minutes to walk from green line bus to lifts. Strongly advised!.

The location is good, there are many nearby. And then, the price is affordable. After that, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruits. Subsequently, it had a stunning view of the Matterhorn, and we had it all to ourselves for two nights in id recommend this hotel for the hot tub alone.

This is a very nice little hotel. The room was clean and had stifling layout. We had an amazing view of the village, just as it was advertised. I only found the mattress to be stiff, which was the only drawback for me, but other people might like it that way. It took us about 20 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel because the location was comparatively remote. To get to this hotel, it takes ten steps uphill, however, that shouldnt be an issue. You can always take cabs from there if you are not good on foot. Breakfast was simple but more than expected for the price. There are cut meats, cheese, mueslis, hardboiled eggs, and fresh eggs that you can soft boil on your own. Also available were coffee, fruit juices and freshly fruit. Excellent spa area. From the heated pool outside, you could see directly to mount matterhorn. A few sun loungers surround the pool. Inside, there are two saunas as well as i have stayed longer to enjoy it more. Staying there was absolutely relaxing, so ill wish we could have spent more nights to appreciate it. Hotel staff is very polite and always willing to help with any questions we had.

The hotel offers excellent value. The breakfast offered was delicious and included in the price. Additionally, the staff members were friendly and accommodating. Their wellness facility, which appeared to have just undergone renovations, was exceptional, with a steam room, sauna, showers at the shower, jicuzzi, and seating area that far exceeded our expectations. We were given an upgraded room for optimum comfort and spaciousness. Its location is also advantageous.

The staff at hotel capricorn were amazing, our stay in zermatt was simply too short and we will be back again. The room had great views of the Matterhorn and with the spring weather lying on the deck chairs on balcony watching the clouds pass by the matterhorn was a great way to spend the day relaxing.

The bedroom and balcony offer a stunning view, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The service provided is exceptional, with excellent service and attentive service. I am looking forward to returning in the future.

We would definitely stay here again if we return to zermatt because this hotel has so much going for it. Our balcony had an amazing view, and for cool evenings, they even had a bin of balcony blankets in the hall. Breakfast was excellent. Someone paid attention to the little things. The room was welldesigned and furnished, with handcrafted woodburning labels on it that were on everything. They had wine glasses and crockery -- why do not more hotels have this? - they have idly serve you alcoholic beverages at any time. Although the room wasnt big, it was extremely well designed, making it very cozy and offering plenty of storage space. There is hardly anything to keep in mind about the fact that it is located emitted from the main road and up obstructing ridges. However, unless like us, you are traveling in mountaintops or want to hike in them, these extra steps are nothing, but ive assumed the slight elevation improves the views.

I would definitely stay here again the next time! I adored this hotel. The room we had was ideal. It felt larger because the kids beds were placed up on a loft. There was incredibly beautiful scenery. Large bathrooms were available. Although tucked away from the main area of town, the location is peaceful.

In the middle of october, we spent two wonderful nights at the hotel capricorn. The rooms are tastefully furnished and wellequipped - we had everything we needed, and we also enjoyed a breathtaking view from our room overlooking Matterhorn. There are additional towels and refreshments available for customers in the lovely, spotless spa area. Breakfast offered dozens of options and was excellent.

A stunning small hotel and bed and breakfast in zermatt. The rooms are spacious and wellappointed. There is tea and coffee available downstairs as well as in the room. Outside of reception hours, drinks can be ordered at the bar or on an honesty list system. Although modest, the spa facilities are lovely, and the pool also has views of the Matterhorn at dusk. However, operating hours are somewhat limited. Breakfast was good and varied. Great base to stay that is a little off the main thoroughfare, which i thought was nice. Its ok to walk from the station, but if you take the long way around the Main street, its still pleasant enough even with luggage. Overall, he is an excellent base for lodging. Maybe pricier than some places in zirmath, however, it is probably more median, so you cant beat the views! Waking up to the matterhorn or watching the sunset is worthwhile.

Our three nights at hotel capricorn were fantastic! The main shopping street and train station are only a 10minute walk away, so there are no problems carrying our bags there. Although there is sluggish slope, it wasnt pronounced long. There was even nasso in the bathroom, and the room itself was lovely! Its amazing that we had incredibly beautiful views of the Matterhorn from the balcony! We could use the microwave in this dining area at night, which we used to purchase some readytoeat meals from Coop to save money. All hotel visitors can use free access to the wellness center. It was quite soothing, but since it was only open from 430 p. M. To 7.30 m, we only had the opportunity to go there once, however, because it hadnt been open for fewer days. Overall, id heartily suggest this location!.

This is a small hotel with fewer rooms than other hotels. The hotel is located ten minutes and shilling up from the river, tucked away from bars and main shopping areas. It takes around five minutes to walk to the bus that will take you to your gondola base. For this tiny hotel, the spa area, which includes an outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room, is ideal. There are about 15 rooms there, but when compared to other accommodations, it has incredibly beautiful views of the Matterhorn. A short distance from both the bars as well as the main retail district, lies the hotel on its side by side from across the street. Breakfast is excellent, featuring savory fare like yogurt, bread, fruit juices, eggs, sausages or even bread. Be aware that the rooms and showers are compact. Being taller, making it i found it challenging to maneuver in the shower.

We would most certainly return to this hotel. We had a great time at this motel. The breakfast was excellent and offered countless options. Additionally, we had an apartment with sat on taverns balcony with views of the Matterhorn, which is highly recommended. While sipping wine, tea, and champagne, our time spent on the deck was spent enjoying it. There are dishes and bottled water in the room. You can also stay warm by using the hotels balcony blankets. Although modest, the rooms are quite cozy. If you visit the wellness spa when it opens, get there when its open, as it is less busy and almost private on friday and Saturday, so you can enjoy yourself. Its ideal for afternoons because the staff is so welcoming, including i have euphoric beverages and selfservice tea or coffee or alcohol station with treats. This place is about ten minutes walk from the train station, making it advisable to carry heavy luggage, but that is the only drawback. In the surrounding area, there are many nice bars and restaurants that are not on main roads.
