I stayed the night while on business the next day. My trip around the shores of Lake Geneva culminated in arriving at the hotel after dark, and judging by how it looked, that may not have entirely been a bad thing. The hotel appears tired from the outside, even though the parking lot is sizable and clean and the site is located on the edge of what appears to be a highrise residential area. The front desk was empty upon entry, so I had to wait while the reception staff put whatever they were doing in a separate office, crossed the hall and came to check me in. The hotel had already made a payment before arriving, which is within their rights as it was through application. Just check your statement before you arrive, and the receptionist assured me that they would only charge me the city tax and breakfast if you want to pay tomorrow. It was late, I was exhausted, and I just wanted to get to my room. The accommodations were fairly basic, but very clean. The twin beds were slightly better than camp beds, but they were quite comfortable and didn't disturb sleep, and the bathroom had all of the necessary amenities without making it ok in the manner it presented me. Not ideal for a business stopover hotel. There was no restaurant on site, and the nearest one was only a 15-minute walk into town, so I decided to wait until breakfast rather than trekking through

The hotel and rooms are nothing special, very anonymous. The bed is small and not very comfortable. Zen is 15 minutes walking distance and the walk is quite enjoyable so id say the location is quite good. The lady at the front advised us to eat at the center restaurant. Good advice, we had a nice dinner.

There is plenty of parking, which makes us cannot say much about the accommodations. We have eat there a few times over the last few months and have always been excellent. We just underwent new management and have begun some fantastic upgrades in the restaurant and bar areas. The restaurant inside is lovely and contemporary, yet very warm and cozy. There is also a lovely terrace on the side of the hotel, which is a small slope. The food is fantastic and nicely presented, making it enjoyable to look at the plate. Very friendly service, it is a pleasure to visit there, and they also serve a very good and reasonable midday menu.

This hotel is a must visit. We had a wonderful one-night stay. The new owners took over the hotel just before the beginning of this month and they are absolutely fantastic. They were accommodating to our running group, addressing constant changes from our side, and were incredibly courteous! They even arranged transportation for us to our race! Yes, there is no one at the reception, but this is what you would expect from any small hotel in the world. The rooms are spotless and tidy. Breakfast is good, and they are not in a hurry to take it away!
