We reserved a twonight stay at hotel hirshen. We were unable to reserve the same room on one of the nights because it was based on reserving last minute, but the hotel was gracious enough to arrange for us to remain in the identical room for both nights. The hotel is conveniently close to supermarkets and the train station, and its balcony had an amazing view. When we were staying in grindelwald on the first night, there was an electrical problem in our room that required an electrician to fix. Since all the other rooms were fully booked, the owners provided candles for them to keep us going until the next night. They even changed our rooms to one with electricity the following day and even made it up by serving cheese fondue on their house. Despite what happened on his first evening, this owners good saving and thoughtfulness made the stay better. People should definitely choose this hotel as their place of lodging when visiting Grindel

The hotel itself is amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a grand view from the balcony, it is in incredibly convenient location, breakfast is delicious, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the raclette dinner is tasty and generously sized (6 large slices of cheese!). The only reason for giving it four stars is that theres billiards every Wednesday night during the summer from 8 or 9 pm to 12 pm, which you can hear even after closing their very solid and soundproof windows. The windows are great, but the bass still gets through things anyway. So if you enjoy partying and dont go to bed before 12pm, this hotel would be perfect for you!.

The rooms are clean but basic, with a good view of the next building - shower pressure is great. The best part was the breakfast included, buffet style with very comfortable seating, only boiled eggs but i love that so worked well for me. Grindelwald local bus stop is just outside. People didnt seem to always be at the desk when it wasnt breakfast or normal checkin time.

We reserved a superior family room with mountain views. Really comfortable beds, cozy with incredibly delicious breakfast included. Friendly staff. I didnt try dinner, but fondue was supposed to be delicious! The minigolf opposite is also fun in the evenings.

Friendly personnel! The view is breathtaking! Its spotless and wellkept. Breakfast is included and meets the highest caliber. Youy ye shi hao, zao can Shiou, youy shun zinghi, and youyouy hang out with friends.

The hotel is very nice. It is located in the center of the city and only 5 minutes from the lift. The breakfast is simple but has everything you need. You can even make your own fresh juice with ginger! We had dinner there in this evening and it was very good. One of my favorite dishes was fondu. They take good care of corona measures and make sure the distance is well organized. Cleanliness was also good in our room. There is only a water boiler, coffee machine, and maybe lone fridge.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The atmosphere is cozy and offers sweeping views. Its ideally situated for lodging because the hotel is only ten minutes from the grindelwald train station. Very clean and comfortable rooms with wholesome breakfast. Samira, the receptionist, and the other staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, informative. Highly recommended accommodation in Grindelholz.

I give it four stars because the staff is nice people and the price per unit is reasonable considering the alternatives. We waited almost 35 minutes to check in, i hope its an unusual accident. Our room, 223, was adequate in size but smelled. Shower was fine and there was a view of the construction site from the window (soundproof glass). Breakfast was just ok. No eggs.

This hotel is among the oldest in the city. The current owner is the 5th generation of the hotels founder. I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and 2 young children. We got a superior double room on level 4. Hotel management has done incredibly well to maintain the condition and cleanliness of this hotel. For the 4 of us, the room itself is spacious. From the private balcony in our room, you can see savoring the view. In my opinion, one of its key factors contributed to our wonderful experience in grindelwald.

We spent one evening at herschen while visiting grindelwald, eating their bacon, mushroom, and cheese fondue. The fondus texture was excellent and creamy, it was perfectly complemented by fresh bread, which was served with side orders of potatoes, pears, or pickles. We chose local beer and wine to enhance our meal, as it worked well with the hearty flavors of the fondoues heartiness. Herschens thoughtful and inviting design created a pleasant atmosphere for our dining experience. Our dining time at Herchen was truly enjoyable and left reverberant, even though we didnt stay at the hotel. It was incredibly enjoyable during our onenight stay in herssen at sheschen, where we had savory cuisine, delicious beverage pairings, plus hospitable atmosphere that made our evening there cherished as i was on my trip to Grindelholz.

This place is recommended when visiting grindlewald! The best dinner experience ever! Delicious fondue, excellent service, and even some after dinner entertainment! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. The staff was exceptional they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our evenings. I highly recommend the mushroom, bacon, herb fondoue and to top it off with some chrutli schwur, the spirit in the picture.
