The hotel is in an excellent location for those who want to stay in the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helped in every way possible. The single room is very small, but should be enough for a solo traveler.

Für uns als Brüder die einfach nur eine preisgünstige Unterkunft gesucht haben, waren wir sehr zufrieden, jedoch füllte das Bett schon fast das ganze Zimmer aus und man hatte nicht viel Leerraum. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns ab dem alten Balkon den wir nicht erwartet haben. Das Service Personal inklusive Restaurant war sehr zuvorkommend und gaben sich grosse Mühe. Das Abendessen war sehr fein und das Morgenbufett war klein aber alles vorhanden inklusive Allergie Möglichkeit.

Parfait pour un séjour à Bâle. Tout proche de la vieille ville (10 min à pieds, 5 en tram). En plus on vous offre la baselcard qui donnent accès gratuitement aux transports en commun. Chambre familiale (3lits +1 lit bébé) très bien. Pour le lit bébé ils fournissent même un bon matelas,couette et oreiller. Literie de bonne qualité. Accueil sympathique

The staff was great - efficient, courteous and very helpful. The location of the hotel was also great - right in front of the hotel are trams and buses, and nearby are many restaurants, fast food outlets and supermarkets. Also around the corner was a money changer.

Zimmer bedürfen einem Facelifting. Dusche im Zimmer müssten renovier werden, Toilettenpapierhaler und Föhnhalter müssten ersetzt beziehungsweise angeschraubt werden. Kaffeemaschiene im Zimmer sehr gut. Ordner Hottelinformationen müsste aktualisiert werden.Ganzes Hotel und Restaurant ist in die Jahre gekommen! Lift bedarf einer Überholung. Im Treppenhaus wird etwas renoviert, müsste im ganzen Hotel und und im Restaurant passieren! Alle Renovationen kosten viel Geld. Wenn immer etwas renoviert würde komm nicht alles auf einmal und es würden sicher mehr Gäste buchen! d.h mehr Einnahmen generiere mehr Geld für Renovationen. Für eine Nacht gut! Essen war sehr gut, Freundliches Personal. Gut gelegen!

Unexpectedly, we were provided Basel cards that covered tram and bus transportation and reduced entry to museums. There are three major trams at the hotel doorstep, making getting to town center a five minute ride. We liked being by local neighborhood shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is not only good, but has very friendly staff. I would choose this place again. Note, this is by no means the Ritz, but clean, safe, friendly and affordable go a long way for me.

We stayed there as a family with 2 kids ages, 7 and 2,5. The hotel was clean and location was very convenient. Breakfast was included which was really nice. Not so many options but plenty with different types of cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and cucumber... The room was a little small but still large enough to fit in a third bed and a baby cot. All in all with the location and friendly face of the staff I can recommend this place and would consider staying there again for my next trip.
