This ski hotel is set in what is probably Zermatt's best location. It offers breathtaking views over the rooftops of the village and of the King of the Alps: the Matterhorn. With its spectacular tunnel entrance by elevator, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the village. Zermatt's train station is just 300 m from the accommodation. This hotel offers a total of 75 beds in 37 different guest rooms. The many services available at this hotel include a hotel safe, lift access, a bar, a panoramic terrace, the Gourmetstöbli restaurant and room service. All rooms have been furnished in a cosy manner and are en suite and include a hairdryer and bathrobes. In-room facilities include a direct dial telephone, cable TV, a radio, a minibar and a safety deposit box. Guests are invited to find some relaxation after an adventurous day in the cosy spa area with its breathtaking views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Guests can treat themselves to a massage after a strenuous day of sports. The spa area is approximately 180 m² and features 2 saltwater hot tubs (36 degrees centigrade), a Kneipp corner with air massage, sun loungers and a relaxing seating area. A Finnish sauna with a crushed ice fountain, a steam bath and adventure showers - including tropical rain and thunder storm - as well as a recreation room with warm water beds can all be found in a separate area and are available for all guests over the age of 15. The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays, with a breakfast buffet being served each morning.
